The house was lovely and situated walking distance from the Main Street and Beach. The Wifi did not work and the shower leaked but otherwise we loved our stay and will be back.

A location, views for days

Great renovated place with a mixture of historical feel at the front but very modern kitchen and reno at the rear.Fantastic secure yard, and views over the bay towards Melbourne, spectacular on a clear night. Great base for exploring the Bellarine or just hanging around portarlington.

Beautiful house in great position

This really is a "home away from home." Everything we needed in a beautiful home with an amazing view. Walking distance to beach, shops and cafes. Would definitely stay here again.

Towels were old and rough hand towels in bathroom disgusting did not use tried to buy towels while there was that desperate. Carpet in lounge area needs steam clean.

Lovely house in a great position

An extremely spacious house with lots of room to sit. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed.One minor downside was the bathroom which was cramped with little space for your things.

Family to attend wedding

it was myself and my adult children and partners. I loved the accomodation, it was clean and comfortable. we had beautiful weather and i could have sat on the verandah the whole time looking at the bay. it was a quick walk to cafes and restaurants. I will be back loved it.

The location of the house was ideal, very close to the shops and with a great view to see the Spirit of Tasmania heading out! We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay for the most part. Anna let us know before we arrived that the washing machine wasn’t working nor was the Wifi. We agree with Janey M’s review of Dec 2024 that secure flyscreens would have been preferred on both the front and side door. We had the best Bee Sting bun we have ever had from the local bakery, yummo! Highly recommend that everyone stop in there!

Great location

The house is very spacious though in need of some repairWe would’ve liked a mop bucket and broom and we had to empty the vacuum cleaner for it to work. Also the barbecue Gas ran out after one use and we were told that we would have to get our own gas bottleadequate Flyscreens would’ve been preferred especially the front door.We did enjoy our stay because of the location and the space in the house although a little bit more attention would’ve been helpful to our stay

We had a fantastic stay. The home is a mix of old world mixed with a modern extension. Comfortable beds, kitchen had everything we required. Big living room with comfortable couches bathed in sunlight in late afternoon. The home has internal steps which might be challenging if you have mobility issues. Super close to town and the beach
