Family vacation

We had such a great time. Beautiful property and very clean. Kids loved the little treats left for them and were excited about all the toys in their room. We enjoyed the boat and paddle boards during the day and fire pit at night. Would highly recommend!

Our family of 4 enjoyed a 3 night stay at sunset shores this July. A well maintained property with plenty of things to do on site (biking, kyaking, paddle boards, swim, fires, and indoor games). We had an issue with the induction stove top, but hosts were able to suggest an alternative and we managed without. Certainly planning on booking at sunset shores next year.

We just stayed for 5 nights. It was wonderful. Beautiful weather and so close to all the attractions we had planned. The water is so clear and refreshing. I took my parents along with my kids. Lots of room in the cottage. Very rustic-look and beautifully decorated. The sunset views are spectacular. It was clean and well stocked. We made sure to use the bikes and kayaks. My son also greatly enjoyed the kids room and board games. My only regret is that I didn’t book a longer stay! Highly recommend!!

Very clean and as listed. Any communication with the manager was prompt and clear. Great location and the waterfront provided a lot of fun for our kids.

Honeymoon 2025

My husband and I had the best time having our honeymoon at Sunset Shore. Amazing views, great accommodations and close to town to be able to go out and do things close by. We fished, kayaked, had fires and just enjoyed being by the water. Would highly recommend staying here!

Sunset Shores is Amazing

The name of the property really suits. We enjoyed watching the sunset every night which was followed by a bonfire and smores. Daytime activities included a lot of kayaking and trips to local shops. Would definitely go again.

Impressive cottage

The cottage is perfect, kids room is amazing, filled out with toys and the bunker bed. Host is super nice, thoughtful and responsive to questions. There are lots board games, books. Plenty of drinking bottle water. Impressive kitchenwares. Highly recommended

Our stay at Sunset Shores was perfect. The house was beautiful and clean, and came with such a thoughtful welcome basket and bottle of wine. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful vacation!

Family Vacation

This was our first time in Tobermory. We enjoyed our stay at Sunset shores. There were plenty of amenities for our party (4 adults, 2 kids ages 2 and 6). Property is within 15-20 minutes of most attractions. In the evenings we enjoyed sunset over the lake and lake side fires. V was responsive and helpful when we messaged them questions. Thank you for letting us use your property. We would stay here again.

We will be back!

This is now our second summer at Sunset Shores in Tobermory, and we would love to come back again. The cottage is clean and very well equipped, has everything a home away from home should have. The location is close to all the great activities around Tobermory, yet still remote enough to be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery in peace. (yes, wonderful sunsets too)

An amazing stay with a great view

The cottage was absolutely adorable and so comfortable to stay in! The host really made sure that it was stocked with everything we could have needed! We had an absolute blast and loved that we were able to use the kayaks to have fun out on the water!

Fabulous!

Charming cottage with wonderfully laid out grounds. Great amenities. Sunsets over a beautiful bay. Sunset Shores is suitable for both couples & families. Nearby everything to do and see on Northern Bruce Peninsula. We loved it and hope to return one day.

Amazing stay in Tobermory

Our family and friends had a perfect time staying at the Sunset Shores, which is an ideal location, with beautiful, remote scenery, but close enough to Tobermory and all the touristy places. The cottage is very clean, rustic and modern at the same time, and extremely well and quality equipped with everything what we needed and more, including the kayaks, which we used a lot. We usually eat out but this time actually preferred to barbecue at “home” to take advantage of the serenity and beauty of the place. For the quality, and everything the property has to offer, the price is well worth and it’s one of the places we would always come back. Thank you very much, Volodymyr!

Great stay in Tobermory

Myself and my husband with our 3 children (12,14,23) stayed at the property. We had a wonderful stay. Vlad was always to answer questions. We loved the little welcome kit and bottle of wine. The house was well equipped and the access to the water was awesome! We’d stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
