Mullet Hole - East End Island Retreat – Scenic Views & Spacious Decking
Peaceful Grand Isle getaway with panoramic sunrise and sunset views.
Located on the eastern end of the island, Mullet Hole boasts a spacious yard and serene surroundings, making it an ideal spot for relaxing with family or friends. From the top lookout deck, enjoy 360° aerial views of the Gulf and bay — catch breathtaking sunrises over the Gulf and sunsets across the bay. The home features three deck areas (both covered and uncovered) for enjoying the views and fresh island air.
Beach access is available via Humble Road, crossing Highway 1 (mile marker 1.4), and an outdoor shower is provided for rinsing off after a day on the sand. 
Pet Friendly: Pets are welcome with prior approval from management and an additional fee.
Nearest golf cart crossover is #1.4 Humble Road.

Perfect location for fishing and close to the beach too! Spacious bedrooms and lots of seating indoors and outdoors. We enjoyed it!

Place was very quaint easy to access beds were comfortable nice area downstairs to BBQ and boil shrimp. Down fall was not warned about the water that may rise all around the steps when windy. Did have issues with ants in kitchen and bathrooms from the time we first got there. But these are minor when you are there with friends and the place is comfy and charming all wrapped into one

Wonderful colorful camp

My son and I stayed here with our dogs. It was perfect for what we needed. Vibrant colors everywhere (even an LSU room with gold ceiling and purple walls). Screened in bottom area where dogs can stay with ylu.

The property was nice its an older house so it has some age. Beds were comfortable and the house had everything you needed. Not sure about a/c the window units didnt work well but it waa cool enough not to need them just yet. Over all it was a great stay on the island.

We will stay again

We’ve stayed at many locations in Grand Isle over the years, but I love the location of this property. It’s kinda out by itself so no noise from neighbors and was safer to let our dogs run around. It had everything we needed for our fishing vacation. It’s also very close to one of the boat ramps. Any questions asked were answered promptly and we had no issues with our stay. We will definitely stay at this location in the future.

Relax

In general, the house accommodates people very well. Spacious bathrooms and bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. But the bathtub needs urgent maintenance because it's clogged. And we found cockroach poop in the kitchen cabinets. They need to disinfect the house as soon as possible! Thank you!

Mullet Hole shortened stay

This is a comfortable property that has been fairly well maintained...spacious, well laid out, and well-equipped...that appears to be on the order of 70 years old. While the location is not what perhaps many people would look for, it was ideal for our group of four, as we share a history of living or vacationing on Grand Isle that spahs more than 70 yearss. Unfortunately, the stay was marred and shortened by a non-working gas furnace, this being most unfortunate as the temperature was in the low 40s and the wind was blowing at 25 knots. There were also a few somewhat minor electrical issues, the principal of which was a cooktop that had non-working igniters. The local property rep quickly sent out electricians and plumbers, but a relatively quick and lasting solution did not result and we cut our planned 4-night stay to two nights, the latter of which saw the inside temperature drop during the night to 50 degrees F. Despite the issues we encoungeted, we would book again if we could be certain that everything is in reliable working order.
