Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in a 1 bedroom cottage 30 feet from the Atlantic Ocean. The cottage is accessible from land or sea! Facing due east, be prepared for magnificent sun and moonrises over the ocean. King size bed, sitting area and full kitchen. There is also a day bed and trundle that will allow for a third adult and a child.

Please note that we are in Cole Harbour Village in Guysborough County, not Cole Harbour near Halifax.

Wonderful getaway!

Splendid cottage as close to the ocean as we have ever stayed! Very quiet; clean; and scenic. Seals visible from porch on two early evenings! Highly recommend.

Our stay was perfect. We felt like we were down south with the sound of the water!! Great spot for relaxation and privacy and some good R&R! Would definitely recommend!

Most beautiful place in the world! Right by the ocean with amazing sunrise. Very cute house and well equipped. Just make sure you pack everything you need ahead because there is nothing close by. You have to drive about 45 minutes to closest stores in the city of Guysborough.

This place is awesome Very nice privacy and the location is just steps from the water its very remote which i enjoyed with great sunrises had an eagle hang out close to the house Would highly recommend and would stay here again....

Secluded paradise

Great get away from it all place. Very remote which is what we wanted to get for celebrating our 50th anniversary We loved being right on the water. You couldn’t get any closer unless you were on a boat

Haven at Cole Harbour

What an amazing location, right on the water. The sound of the waves was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay. Our only issue was that the lovely chairs were uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time.

If you like a remote place with a lot of privacy and beautiful views, this is the place to go to. We are glad we found it and left it behind with pain in our heart.

Perfect peaceful place Seen Eagles and chipmunk which loved blueberries. Small private beach not far from cabin maybe 5 minute walk down a trail.

Exceeded expectations!

Lovely, lovely stay here. The cottage sits at ocean's edge with a long dock out above the water. We had a seal visit us every day and two bald eagles around the corner. Very well maintained selection of trails to a shared beach, through the mossy spruce woods, along mowed paths to a sea lookout. The cottage was clean, cozy and perfect for our family of four and our dog! Highly recommend the 20 minute drive to Tor Bay Provincial Park. Gorgeous sandy beaches, waves, rocks to climb, seals, very remote and secluded. Would love to return. A sweet and memorable family vacation with our two college *kids*. We all loved it.
