The property was in a fantastic location! We took our boys to a couple of baseball games at Wrigley field and took a fantastic architecture tour! Our boys want to come back again.

Had a great stay at this property. Property was clean, in good condition and had no issues during the stay. We were in town for college visits and location was great. Easy access to downtown, Loyola and Evanston. Very walkable, convenient for driving to other amenities and felt safe without any issues. Used parking garage just a block away. Easy, no issues and great experience.

Quaint stay with quiet neighborhood

This apartment was so cute, quiet and a great stay for my family and I. The host was able to accommodate extra blankets and towels for us during our stay. As well with it being a pet friendly property our dog enjoyed his stay and a little bit of the city life. Dinner is walkable as well as access to the main transit system. This is definitely a good spot for a girls trip or even a single that wanted to different kind of stay in Chicago!

Great apartment

Apartment was clean and comfortable. Great location. One small thing is that parking wasn't that easy to find. You need to drive around quite a bit. Eventually parking surfaced. We had to park in the garage one night. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Good Location, needs a deep clean

Overall a good stay. Good location, close to the beach, red line and area restaurants. The 3 stars is mainly due to cleanliness. I’m a property owner and manager, so take that into consideration. Strong dog urine smell, likely on the living room rug? Mold in the shower, food spatters on the range, smudges on the mirrored closet door. Needs a deep thorough clean. Everything worked, good location.

Clean, Affordable Property near Chicago

A very clean and nice property. Plenty of activities nearby (food, coffee) and not a long drive from the city. My only very minor critique is that there wasn't any laundry detergent with the washer and dryer.

Overall good experience

Host was very communicative. There is no parking even though the listing states parking. However street parking was fairly easy to find before 10pm. Would still stay again!

The location was convenient, and the overall layout of the space worked well for what we needed. However, there were several cleanliness and upkeep issues that made our stay less comfortable than expected. The parking situation was super inconvenient when trying to carry suitcases and big coolers to the building. The entry to the building was dirty, … clumps of what appear to be dog hair/fur, etc. and the floors inside hadn’t been swept well. We noticed quite a few bugs and spiders throughout, along with dust balls and dead insects behind doors—something that could be addressed with a more thorough cleaning. The shower itself was clean, but the caulking was covered in mold and could really use a refresh. We also had trouble finding basic kitchen items like dish rags, and there weren’t any staple amenities like cooking spray, condiments, or butter, which are often appreciated in a rental. Finally, we did spot a rat in the bushes outside, which was unsettling. With a bit more attention to detail and upkeep, this property could be much more enjoyable for future guests.

Great location in the city

The property was great but…the picture of the back of building parking is deceptive. There is no parking there, you are at the mercy of finding a curb spot. We did the nearby parking garage (2 block walk). Be sure to bring washing machine pods. Nice and convenient to the train. Felt safe walking in the neighborhood.

Honest to God, we loved the place, loved the location, and would definitely come back again. However, the photographer is the real genius. The photographs, along with the statement that it sleeps six, make it look larger than it is. We had four adults and it was snug. If we had six it would have been like submarine quarters. The one photograph that would have been helpful would have been a photograph of the lockbox location. Even though I read the directions carefully, I still had trouble finding the lockbox location. Maybe just say something like it's on the iron fence in the southeast corner of the property near the alley or near the rear parking area. All that being said, I would still go back.

Our stay was nice. The host was friendly and helpful. Not sure I would use Vrbo/Evole again. It is way to difficult to find and refind information needed about the property. (Check in, check out info) it was never available on the vrbo app or the evole website. And the fact that you have to use two separate places to access information about the same trip. Too confusing and frustrating.

Decent Stay

We had a good two night stay and would stay again based on location alone! However there are a few things that could make it better 1) Upon arrival it was super difficult to locate the appropriate lock box outside. There are so many and was difficult to find the one for the condo. There was no sticker on the side of it as we were advised so really was trial and error based on the pictures that were sent to me. 2) The couch is not super comfortable and caved in so we couldn't sit long after a long day out exploring. The beds however were comfortable. 3) The condo was 'clean enough' but some extra care could be had especially in the bathroom on the faucets and underside of the shower head. It's pretty bare bones condo but like I said its a great location near Loyola, safe, and we had no problem finding parking.

Good communication with Micaela

The place is how it's pictured, the beds are comfortable and it's very clean. I also appreciated the coffee that was stocked for the machine. It was great to text with Micaela, very quick responses. Just a couple of suggestions - there's an iron but no ironing board which would have been great. It might also be nice to have some lamps (rather than overhead lights) in the living room and more available in the bedrooms along with more nightstands and power strips. The parking was a bit difficult, hard to find spots on street. We ended up finally using the parking garage down the street but unfortunately had to pay $10/day.

It was ok. Would stay again with a few adjustments.

We started our stay with searching for the correct lock box. I put the code into all but one box before I found it. As expensive as this rental was not having designated parking was a huge pain. The garage two blocks away doesn’t accept cash so if you don’t have your debit card your either walking back or have to do what I did and flag down a random person to pay cash and use their debit card to get you out. The add says one flight of stairs which is accurate and misleading at the same time. Yes you are on the second floor but there is physically three flights of very steep stairs to walk up. Because of this I accidentally tried to put my keys in the doors on the first floor thinking I only had one flight of stairs to go up. I eventually went up the next two flights of stairs and found the right door. 2W. Once you are in it is nice. I liked the coded door. There is only one bathroom to share between the five of us who were staying there. We couldn’t figure out why there was plastic on the pull out couch so one of my sons slept on the couch and the other slept on their floor. They could have slept in my room but the living room was the only room with a tv. The house is not baby friendly. My toddler had to stay in her play pen the entire time she was there. The bath tub does have. A jacuzzi but we couldn’t figure out if it worked or not. It was nice that a hair dryer was supplied but we didn’t use it because it was stored ext to the toilet plunger. We ended up leaving our trash in the house because I have a handicapped mom and three kids with no clue where it was supposed to go. The location was great. We were super close to the beach and lots of good food. Its only a 19 minute drive to downtown Chicago. I will say that the homeowner was very easy to get a hold of. We had an accident where my son locked the keys in the house and she very quickly called us back to help us with a spare key. Super nice woman and for that reason I would stay again. Maybe without my toddler or disabled mom lol.
