Quaint Condo but barely any beach

Cute & comfortable little place for a getaway. It's an older building- could use some standard upgrades, but we don't require fancy, just functional & it was every bit of that! When it says oceanfront, it LITERALLY means oceanfront because erosion has consumed the majority or the actual beach except during the lowest tides. The shore is lined with sandbags the size of minivans- this is not shown in the rental photos. To be able to spend the day on the beach we had to drive to a public beach and pay to park. The one large window style AC unit works great, but you have to leave the bedroom door open & the ceiling fans on to get any air to the back of the condo & the unit is so loud when it runs that it completely drowns the sound from the living room TV which was only an issue in the evening when we wanted to watch a movie. The condo was supplied with most things a person could want or need during their trip. This unit is on the second floor and the stairs were broken up into 3 sections which is very manageable. We love having a shower on the walkway from the ocean to rinse our feet and chairs. The condo was fairly clean when we arrived & came with the linens & paper products needed. There is no washer/dryer in the unit, & you aren't permitted to hang beach towels or suits on the balcony to dry, which was a little frustrating & made for a messy bathroom cleanup, but it is manageable. Very easy check-in/check-out process. All in all a good stay and we would stay here again!

REALLY ocean front!

This rental property is so adorable! We just wish we had known ahead of time that there was practically no beach anymore. When high tide came in, it came right up to the building! Beautiful, but more than a bit scary. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

Cozy like home but could use some sprucing up. No dishwasher and some of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty. There was bedding for the pull out couch but no pillow cases. Only one towel and washcloth per person. There was a small window of opportunity to be on the beach during the day as the tide was really high. The water went right up to the building! The second day we had to drive down to a public access, pay for parking, so we could spend more than 2 hours on the beach. The town is beautiful and non-commercialized. Lots of great food, too.

Cute little place for a nice weekend getaway. Communication was great and the view was even better! First time using VBRO and he was where we wanted at a reasonable price point. Like I said, we WILL be back!

Wedding trip

Overall ok. But owner needs to update some things. No air conditioning in bedroom only a draw fan in door and ceiling fan. Not enough too be cool. And flooring was lifting up. Trip hazard. Bed not really comfortable and couch creeked!

Unit needs new flooring

Cute little unit, clean, but it could use some upgrades. Couch had a dog cover on it - we didn’t have a dog. Flooring throughout unit was cheap, too thin, with many little tears or holes in it. Hole in bathroom floor covered by a rug, but you could clearly feel it. Location/view was great, right on the water. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony, feeling the breeze, listening to the ocean waves crashing on the shore.

Spring Break Getaway

The location of this property cannot be topped-you are literally on the ocean! The property has everything that is needed for a short stay and was perfect for two adults. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for oceanfront views, beautiful sunrises and daily dolphin visits!

Great retreat, right on the beach

Nicely appointed unit, so close to the beach we could look straight down into the surf from our balcony at high-tide. The best surprise was the tiki-bar right across the road!
