Perched on a scenic bluff overlooking Lake Tahoe’s West Shore, Rocky Ridge #61 offers a front-row seat to the natural beauty of the Sierra. This thoughtfully maintained two-story condo features an "upside-down" layout designed to keep the focus on the views. The top floor boasts vaulted ceilings and an open-concept living area where you can relax by the forest-framed windows or enjoy a meal at the large dining table, all while looking out toward Alpine Meadows and Olympic Valley.

The fully equipped kitchen is perfectly positioned for entertaining, staying open to the main living space. On the lower level, you’ll find a peaceful retreat consisting of a primary suite with a spacious attached bath, plus a comfortable guest room and second full bathroom. Whether you're watching the sun set over the peaks or heading out to the private beach, this home serves as the ultimate basecamp for your Tahoe adventures.

Rocky Ridge is a gated 60-acre community in Tahoe City bordering State Forest land, offering immediate access to hiking and mountain biking trails. Residents and guests enjoy premium amenities, including two seasonal swimming pools and spas, tennis and basketball courts, a playground, Bocce Ball, and a private beach with a pier, clubhouse, and volleyball court.

Our open-concept, two-story rentals feature vaulted mountain-style ceilings, rock fireplaces, and fully equipped kitchens. Each unit includes high-speed Wi-Fi, an in-unit washer/dryer, and all linens. Please note that homes are equipped with central heat and fans, while A/C is rare in Tahoe, we’ve provided fans to keep that fresh mountain air circulating!


*Forest View pool is being re-coated in Spring 2026, which may affect the opening date. No refunds will be given.

Ideal location, outstanding amenities

Condo was great, had everything we needed. Well appointed kitchen, great view, very comfortable beds. Amenities in the complex are top notch. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back again.

We loved the property and location. Great amenities and proximity to the lake. Interaction with the property manager was unnecessarily combative but interaction with oneal property managers was very helpful and informative.

End of summer vacation

Great location. Loved the properties private beach. Great view of the lake from the property. We loved our nightly walk to watch the sunset over Lake Tahoe. Just a short drive to some of the lost beautiful beach’s, sand harbor and chimney beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Someone entered our unit while we were out and moved some things but most importantly turned on the BEAR MAT (which we were unaware of). Upon returning home I was painfully shocked. I notified the manager in person that someone entered our unit, moved some things and turned on the bear mat, and I was hurt and he said that no one had done that. He did not offer any explanation or apology and implied that I must be mistaken. He said the property was totally secure and that could not have happened. I asked if there was any video surveillance and he said there was not. I know I was shocked, that we had not turned on the bear mat (didn’t even know what it was) and that someone had entered and disturbed some things. So my complaint is lack of security and poor response from management.

This property claims they have private beach within the community, which is one of the most important reason I finally chose this one instead of another one with cheaper price. However, the so-called beach is not within the community and when I google search it, it shows it was permanently closed. I tried to follow google map and drove to see if I can use the provided beach access key, but I failed. It looked like unused for a long time. Moreover, since I did experience dirty bedding sheets in my previous trip, I contacted their customer service to make sure all beddings were cleaned and unused. Honestly speaking, I don’t think I asked anything out of their work scope. They looked impatient and made me feel I asked stupid question. This is really unpleasant.

Played lots of tennis and used the pools and loved going down to the dock. Our unit was very clean and had everything we needed to be able to cook. This is not specific to #61 but during our stay there was a almost 6 hour power outage -- would be great if there were flashlights in a kitchen drawer (there were candles but no matches). We just went to bed and hoped the lights would come back on (they did at 3 am!) Will come back for sure :)
