House was as expected, clean and with a beautiful view. We picked the house because of the pool. Unless you are my 9-year old son, the pool isn’t usable unless heated and it takes a good 12 hours to heat. Once heated, it was very enjoyable, but a couple of umbrellas on the deck would have made it perfect. We loved all the nature and wildlife (saw bunnies, wild turkeys, deer, and tried to spot a bear with no luck), access to hiking trails, restaurants, etc. You can’t beat the view and seating at the gazebo was my favorite. Bug spray is a must!My only complaint: It was difficult working with a 3rd party management company and getting emails and texts from different numbers and addresses and then still getting emails like the home address from VRBO. I message the host that I was bringing my two dogs immediately after renting the place. We then show up and get multiple calls from the mgmt company saying we hadn’t notified the owner of the dogs and we owed money. White it was clearly communicated that the house had outdoor cameras, it was still a bit unnerving to know we were being watched while in the yard. And, I felt like I was getting in trouble for something that I had communicated. The ppl at the mgmt company were lovely and very responsive.

Everything here exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect with great views and peaceful surroundings. The house was spotless and well-designed with its sparkling pool and gazebo. My contact was very responsive and helped make sure I had an enjoyable visit. The perfect place to get away and unwind.

We had a delightful time. It’s a great place for a family vacation. The house is beautiful and well maintained. It’s easy to get to from the highway. You can hear Highway 64 noise from the pagoda. It’s not bad, but you can definitely hear it. You are close to numerous outdoor activities and can stay busy or just relax. Enjoyed our time!

We enjoyed our stay immensely at this Mid Century Modern home. It is perfect for a quiet get away with lovely views. The pool was crisp and clear! Great place to get away and unwind

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend just to get out of the city and unplug for a few days. It was the perfect place for that! The house is immaculate, and the pool is perfect. We had some issues with the electricity going out a few times while we were there, but the Host was great to work with, and the owner even refunded a portion of our stay for the trouble.

Gorgeous property

Absolutely beautiful house situated in the most perfect spot in the mountains for the most perfect view. I'm not even kidding it was so beautiful, we just stared out the huge floor to ceiling windows when it was raining for awhile. The home is an amazing mid century home that thankfully the owners kept so much of the original charm for. The pool was also so much fun. The host provided a lot of helpful information as well! Only thing is the light switch situation as previously mentioned by others is definitely quirky and there's soooo many switches. Otherwise, it was absolutely perfect and an amazing getaway.

Beautiful views and easy access

This house is unique. The views are stunning and to have a private pool is quite peaceful.There are helpful amenities but just a few things to consider: there is only one rack for both ovens so if you are making something that takes up more space, you have to be creative. Also, the heated pool never really got above 78 degrees which was still a bit cold given the cooler air temps. Maybe it heats faster in warmer weather. The house is clean, the beds are comfortable and the views really are breathtaking! A great stay for a family or a few couples.

Mountain stay

Only complaint were the couches, covers kept falling off and I think you need more seats for the number of people that the house holds. Additionally the dining room table seats were not sturdy. Therefore we were afraid to use it.

Beautiful views

There were 6 of us and this home accommodated us perfectly. We loved the retro feel of the home. Took us a while to figure out the lighting. The home was clean and well kept. The only draw back were the gnats… there are some many of them. I guess that comes with nature. Would definitely recommend to others.

Very much enjoyed our stay. Electrical of the house incredibly odd, but we got enjoyment out of the mysteries. Spider webs over the door ways would be only complaint!

Nice getaway!

We loved the sunsets and the pool! The homeowner was very responsive to our requests. Copperhill & McCaysville offer a lot of smalltown things to do!

No one wanted to leave!

This was one of the most relaxing long weekends ever. The house is fabulous, exactly like the pictures. The pool was so refreshing during these hot a$& days we've been having and the gazebo at sunrise and sunset is spectacular. Only one little issue with the pool but it was taken care of immediately! The 6 year old who was with us said on our last day...."I don't want to leave this house. I want to live here." :) We all felt that way!

Great Family Vacation

This location is fantastic! The view of the mountains and sunset were gorgeous! It stormed one evening while we were there and that was amazing to watch the storm approach over the mountains too!The house appears to be very cared for and any questions we had were quickly answered. We chose to come to the mountains this year for vacation and will definitely keep this place in mind when we look to do that again!Thank you so much for a fantastic vacation!

Not as it seems

The pictures of this places were not what it looked like when we arrived. The view is amazing but the house seemed to not been cleaned in a long while. It was extremely hot upon arrival, smelled awful, felt dirty and the air conditioning unit leaked dangerously. The pool was not full all the way, causing the heater to not heat the last 2 days of our stay. Which you have to turn on and off yourself. Pool was not clean and chairs were in rough condition. We had several spiders inside the home and ticks. The light switches are really odd and don’t match to what you think. We made the most of it as best we could but it was not what we had hoped for. With some upgrading and regular cleaning this place would be awesome. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t awesome during our stay.

Great property!

We had a great time. The house is pretty fantastic and the views are wonderful. We will definitely be booking again when we vacation in Copperhill/Blue Ridge.
