One of the Best Kept Secrets on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, Captain’s Cove is only 25 short minutes by car or boat to Chincoteague and Assateague National Seashore, where our famous Wild Ponies roam free. The Cove has fabulous Amenities including 2 Outdoor Pools, an Indoor Pool, Fitness Center, and more! Have a Pool day, or burn some Vacation calories in the Fitness Center (Fees Apply). And if you’re looking for some OC excitement, Ocean City, Maryland is a short 45 minute drive away, and Virginia Beach is only 2 hours. Have the very best of everything, right in the heart of the Eastern Shore!

Anchors Away sits Canalfront on the same Canal as our Marina, with spectacular Views of the Canal - both in front and in the back of the house, as well as jaw-dropping wide open Views of the pristine Chincoteague Bay. If you’re a Boater, it gets no better than this! Drop your Boat in at our Community Marina (Fees Apply), and tie it up right in your own backyard! It’s a short 20 minute ride by Boat to Chincoteague Island, where you can tie up at several Restaurants and go to dinner by Boat! Even if you’re not one to bring the Boat along, there’s so much fun to be had at Anchors Away! You’ll have a blast fishing and crabbing in the backyard, and a Kayak is provided if you’d like to have a paddle. Kick off your Flip Flops and sink into one of the Adirondack Chairs - just relax and take in that salty, sweet sea breeze. You may never want to leave!

This adorable and affordable home is light, bright, and open. Kick back in the Living Area in the comfy Sectional, and enjoy Flat Screen Streaming TV and Free WiFi. With sunny, yellow walls and soaring ceilings, Anchor’s Away feels so spacious. Just off the Living Area, you find the Dining Area with a large table that seats 6. Dine in the comfort of Central AC, or wander to The Marina Club Restaurant, just around the corner!

The Chef in your family will love preparing meals in the well-stocked Kitchen, with all the comforts of home. There’s yet another Eating Area in this spacious Kitchen - perfect for grabbing a quick bite before hitting the Beach. A Gas Grill is provided, so you can grill up some cheeseburgers in paradise - all while gazing at the water. You can also dine Al-Fresco at the water’s edge. A few steps away is a fabulous Sunroom, which lines the entire Waterfront Side of the house. A great place to curl up with a good book, or for the kids to watch a movie, while the grown-ups relax in the Living Area.

Anchors Away sleeps 6 more than comfortable in 3 Bedrooms - occupancy is strictly enforced. On the main level, you’ll find Bedrooms 1 and 2. Bedroom 1 is a Master with a luxurious Queen Bed and Private Access to the Waterfront Deck. The Private Master Bath has a Walk-in Shower. Just across the Hall, you’ll find Bedroom 2 with a Queen Bed. Both Bedrooms 1 and 2 has Flat Screen Streaming Only TV.

Follow the Spiral Staircase upstairs, and you’ll find the Loft and Bedroom 3. The Loft is a perfect space for the kids or if you’re just looking for a quiet place to reflect. A Flat Screen Streaming TV is on the way! Bedroom 3 has both a Twin Bed with Twin Trundle, and a Full Bed, as well as more gorgeous Views.

Now, let us tell you about this awesome Community! Captain’s Cove is loaded with amenities - a Golf Course, Indoor Pool, 2 Outdoor Pools - 1 Bayfront with Tiki Bar, Fitness Center, Playground, Restaurant, and Snack Bar. Guests may purchase Amenity Passes for the pools by the day or the week at a minimal fee ($15/pp per day or $75/pp per week). More of a beach person? One of the most gorgeous, cleanest beaches in America, Assateague Island National Park, is only 20 minutes down the street, or take your boat to one of our awesome sand bars for your own private slice of Paradise.

Captain's Cove does not allow arrivals or departures on Sundays. Pool/Amenity closures possible and Amenities cannot be guaranteed.OCCUPANCY IS STRICTLY ENFORCED. Amenity Fees are subject to change.

Well-trained Dogs (2 max) welcome with $100 Pet Fee each. Must be approved in advance, and must be current on vaccinations, and on flea/tick preventative.
