The Pool House

“The Pool House” is a pet friendly modern one bedroom guest house with pool and yard for guests exclusive use at the rear of the main dwelling one street back from the waterfront at Port Stephens, Australia’s Blue Water Paradise. The waterfront reserve is a 2 min walk away, continue along the foreshore and in 10 min you can be in the hub of Lemon Tree Passage where you will find the boat launching ramp, park, tidal pool, Marina, Laundromat, Cafés/Restaurants, Post Office, Chemist, Butchers & Bottle Shop!

The space
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make a gourmet meal. Tea and coffee supplied.

The lounge area has comfortable leather lounge plus large screen 69inch TV, DVD player, surround sound and wifi.

The bedroom has a Queen size comfortable bed with modern ensuite and walk in robe.

The private outdoor area overlooks the pool and garden and is for your exclusive use including the pool, garden, BBQ, lounge, table & chairs.

Guest access
Access to “The Pool House” is via the driveway leading you to the rear of the main house, with off street parking for car and trailer boat. Key will be available onsite with instructions via text message prior to arrival.

Other things to note
Newcastle Airport is a short 20 min drive.
No Smoking in the Studio
Pets are permitted, the yard is fully fenced.

There is a washing machine available tucked into the walk in pantry.

Your stay here would be a lovely place to unwind sitting by the pool or after a busy day exploring the local area, Newcastle & Port Stephens with its beautiful beaches is only 40 mins away and you can be in the heart of the Hunter Valley in just over an hour.

The Pool House is an excellent property with all we needed for a quiet getaway. We spent a lot of time in the great pool and the Pool House has all the creature comforts we expected and appreciated. It has been well thought out to cater to visitors’ needs. The air conditioning was particularly welcome during a hot week. We felt at home away from home!

What a wonderful stay! Couldn’t ask for better quality throughout the Pool House-it catered for all our needs with a great pool area, very comfortable bed and great kitchen/ living area…..and all so beautifully appointed. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable break from the regular humdrum.

Lovely well equipped house. Peaceful location with a couple of cafes nearby. Nearest supermarket a short drive. Pool was very cold but it was July!

Nice property, peaceful area

We came for a short, late autumn break with our dog. The pool looked great but too cold at this time of year especially with heavy rain. It was lovely to find such a nice, well-appointed property which welcomed our pooch. It was an easy and scenic walk to the village and a short drive to the supermarket and eating places. Despite some truely awful weather, we could snuggle down and relax and get out between showers. Highly recommended.

Just what we needed

A short one night on a trip. Great place to relax and recharge for more driving. Dogs enjoy the enclosed private grassed yard to run off being cooped up in the car. Pool is great in warmer weather. This was my 3rd stay.

We had an overnight stay on our way to QLD. Jan was a wonderful host, and made the whole process easy. The property is beautiful, and the pool was a welcome relief in the heat.I definitely recommend the Pool House.

Perfect for our stay.

We stayed for 2 nights with our dog. The size and layout was just what we needed, and it was fully stocked with all our requirements. A very pleasant stay.

Pool house is the best in Lemon Tree Passage

My wife and our dog stayed at the pool house a year ago and when we decided again to spend a week at Port Stephens, it was clear that the Pool House was the obvious choice. Perfect for adults and the dog loves the place too

Pool House Delight

What a great place to stay; thank you Jan (host) for your presentation of the Pool House, it would rival any Studio apartment in a large complex. Tastefully appointed kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom, plenty of room to stretch out. An added bonus is the exclusive use of the sparkling pool (if the weather had been hotter) and a large backyard for the dog. Close to the inland waterway with great walking tracks near by. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it with or without a pooch.

Be prepared to be relaxed, exhilarated, enchanted and amazed when you visit Port Stephens on the NSW ‘awesome coast’... an easy 2 1/2 hours drive north of Sydney with a choice of 26 beautiful beaches, gourmet restaurants, whale & dolphin watching, sand dunes and much more all with-in 30 to 40mins drive from my Airbnb.
