Family waterfront cottage with shallow, sandy entry - drive in, road access.

Great family cottage has sandy water access, a dock, a large kitchen and 4 bedrooms. Room to sleep up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms. Drive in, road access cottage has plenty of parking space. There is a deck, dock, fire pit and grassy play space to enjoy the great outdoors. Explore the lake using any of the paddle boats provided (2 canoes, a kayak, stand-up paddle board or paddle boat). Located on a medium sized lake - there are some motorboats and plenty of canoes and kayaks on the lake. Great for fishing - either off the dock, or around the lake. A short drive in to Haliburton, Midden or Carvarvon for groceries, LCBO, restaurants and other activities or site seeing.

Clean bed linens are provided, as well as dish clothes and tea towels. Please bring your own beach and shower towels.

No wifi at the cottage - enjoy your time 'unplugged'. There is good cell phone signal and we use our phone data (through Rogers or Bell) for internet when needed. There is a DVD player and DVDs, as well as board games and cards for rainy days.

Tap water is from a well and has been tested for bacteria and nitrates (meets drinking water standards). We do have a water cooler as well if you do not like the taste of the well water.

Our cottage does not have garbage collection, but the landfill is only a 4 minute drive and we will provide a landfill card which allows for free disposal of household waste and recycling. We ask that guests please dispose of their garbage prior to checkout or take the garbage with them. Please ensure the landfill card is on the premises at checkout time.
