Ann and her family were fabulous guests. They took great care of Fairview and left the house immaculate. Ann’s respect and care was heartwarming. Ann ensured that furnishings and games were kept dry and out of the weather. I would have Ann and her family back in a heartbeat. I resoundingly recommend Ann to other hosts.

Where do I start. A beautiful house on a beautiful piece of picturesque land with amazing birdlife and greenery. Ingrid was an amazing host and welcomed us with freshly baked scones with fresh cream and jam. Ingrid also provided fresh organic oranges from the trees on the property. A place i will definitely be returning to and highly recommend .

We have returned to this beautiful location again and again this home has filled our bucket! The fresh scones on arrival also helped! The house was able to accommodate our two families, the paddocks allowed our teens to roam and explore. Many thanks Ingrid!

We had a lovely stay. Fairview was the perfect weekend getaway. The property is well maintained, spacious and beautifully presented with clean facilities.If you like to cook there is a well appointed kitchen with plenty of utensils. Beds were very comfortable.Beautiful views of the country side, hills and wildlife. This property offers a very relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views and great amenities

The accomodation is above excellent! The many thoughtful, insightful things that were done for visitors coming to this beautiful property was superb. You couldn’t ask for a better experience!! It would have to be one of the regions best kept secrets!

Excellent place
We had a fantastic stay at the farmstead. The location was beautiful, and the host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The property was well-maintained and tidy, making our stay very enjoyable. We highly recommend this peaceful retreat for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

Super view, all facilities provided by hosy
It was amazing stay with friends and family. Very spacious rooms and facilities are great. Great view outside . We are planning to come back in Xmas holidays . Very lovely and accomodating host. Thanks for having us.

The ultimate retreat
Truly stunning property and location. Every conceivable amenity is provided. The home is incredibly beautiful both in and out. Utter comfort inside and multiple outdoor areas to wile away the hours. Lots of wildlife. The host has done an amazing job of catering for every possible need.

We are already planning our return visit. We visited with our hard to please teenage son and he had a blast. Riding his bike for hours, gold panning by the creek, board games and fishing!Ingrids communication was excellent and after a long trip arriving to scones jam and cream and fresh flowers made for a wonderfully warm home welcome. The house is very spacious, the bedrooms are large the views of the hills are amazing. The kitchen was fully equipped, there was plenty to read in the library and many board games. Wifi worked with nil issues. We enjoyed the fire place and even tho the winter weather was defintley upon us we were never cold when inside the house. We enjoyed the property and breakfast on the verandah. Was the country escape we had hoped for and more. Thankyou Ingrid for a wonderful experience. We look forward to our return.

One of our families favourite ever stays. Just a spacious and impressive country home with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. The home has all the furnishings you could ask for with books on local area history a real bonus (even for a non reader). The host was so lovely in offering some great local tips and having home baked scones in the back deck each morning was a real surprise and treat. The location is perfect as secluded enough to disconnect but just a short drive to two beautiful towns Tumbarumba and Batlow. Highly recommend!

Country hospitality at its best
This property is incredible! It absolutely exceeded our expectation and we had a wonderful weekend soaking up the country side and enjoying the beautiful house with our family and friends. It’s definitely more spacious than the photos give it credit for. Ingrid is a wonderful and thoughtful host. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing Family Getaway
We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful house with another family, and it exceeded all our expectations. The spacious accommodation comfortably housed all 8 of us, providing plenty of room for everyone to enjoy.
The highlight was the fireplace and the wildlife (lots of birdlife and kangaroos) and although we didn't find any, searching for wombats and platypus was fun, too.
The house is well-equipped, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended for a serene family getaway.

Comfortable and cosy stay in a great setting
We used this stay as a gathering point for two groups coming from Sydney and Melbourne. The location is relatively remote but still easily accessible by car. The house is exceptionally furnished and well stocked with essentials. The view from the back of the property is amazing, with a creek running along the bottom of the hill.
The host Ingrid was easy to communicate with and very accommodating with our requests. I would have no hesitation booking this stay again.

Brilliant
An escape to a beautiful part of the country - the isolation was perfect although close enough to Tumbarumba. The home is welcoming and clean with multiple perfect perches around the long verandahs to take in the views. Our teens ditched their devices and could be glimpsed exploring the stream and paddocks. We will be back!

Beautiful & relaxing farmstay
Had a fantastic time at Fairview. I went with my siblings and partners (there were 8 of us total) and we enjoyed visiting the creek, lounging around, and soaking up the gorgeous views. The house was beautiful and really spacious. Every aspect of the place made you feel cozy and warm, both inside and outside.
Plenty to do if you’re looking for a bit of adventure: Ingrid provided a detailed lists of ideas, and the house had a range of games available too. The location was perfect - half way between Melb and Syd where we came from - and we loved the private, quiet getaway from the city. Would definitely recommend!!

Country Estate
Surpassed our expectations. Amazing beautiful house and grounds. A real country property with views over the country side and beyond. The house was large and well maintained with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The little extras on the kitchen table were a pleasant surprise and made you feel at ease and comfortable. Our host was extremely accommodating before and during our stay. We are looking forward to a return stay in the cooler months in the new year.

Amazing Experience
The place is nice, very well maintained and beautiful property. Above all it is the owner Ingrid, we had an incident with our vehicle a night before checking out and Ingrid being so generous offered us an extra day at the property without any additional cost, we could not cherish the offer however, I haven’t seen anybody doing this for anyone. Ingrid also offered if she can drive me to Yass to collect the replacement vehicle. In short the property is amazing and property owner is even more. We will plan something again soon as 3 days weren’t enough. Thank you Ingrid.

Holiday in paradise....
How much we enjoyed our 8 vacation days in this lovely huge holiday home!
The pictures doesn't show the amazing size of the house and the beautiful big big garden.
When we arrived we were so surprised. It already started with the beautiful location, in the middle of nature. Then we looked with wonder at the beautiful house. It was much bigger than we ever expected! Everything is the house is beautiful, large and of very good quality. We were surprised by the personal touch: the delicious scones and the vases with flowers from the garden. And the coffee, milk and fruit. We enjoyed the big garden with stunning views. Every evening we went for a walk and saw the kangaroos. So special!
It was a vacation never to forget. It was a paradise for us.
The livingroom is so big and then the house has 3 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a very large kitchen and another livingroom. In the garden you have stunning views and many places to sit or to eat or use the large bbq.
You can easily rent this house with 3 couples and you would have enough privacy and space.
Thanks a lot for this wonderful holiday.
