We had a very pleasant time. It was so nice to be in a country setting. So peaceful and quiet. Watching the horses in the back field and Stuart the barn cat was a special added touch. The farm house was very clean and added to the memories of our grandparents home. Kitchen had everything we needed. Thanks!

A great option near town

Our experience was great! We were looking for something that was nearby to Wooster for our college reunion weekend, but offered more than a hotel, and this lively country home met the mark! Having three true bedrooms (2 couples, 1 solo, and a baby), a lovely living room to gather in at the end of our very full days, and the option of laundry and a full kitchen put our minds at ease for a flexible weekend. We are so pleased this house was available and offered.

Loved this quiet farmhouse!

We so enjoyed our stay. The house was cozy, comfortable, and very welcoming. It was extremely clean and exactly as described. The lovely Christmas decorations, were an added touch to the coziness of this house. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a quiet getaway. We will definitely put this on our list of return properties.

Work Stay

Everything was great, except check-in. When our guys arrived at 9pm (check-in was after 4pm) the cleaning lady was there cleaning. They had to wait on her to get out. Besides that hiccup, all was good

Farmhouse charm

The farmhouse was very well kept and clean with charming decor and a maximum use of the space. The beds were comfortable and the entire house was very warm and cozy. We spent a significant amount of time on the front porch, which I would suggest adding some chairs there. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with paper products, soaps, and they even had laundry detergent! The description of the property was a little skewed in that it said we would not see the owners while we were there and that it was very private. There was a horse barn right next to us that a person would come twice a day to open, clean, etc. The owners were spotted at least 3 times in our area (watering plants and getting mail). The lawn mowers knocked on the door and asked us to move a car so they could get the mower out.In addition, we couldn’t use the fire pit because a bush/tree was crowding it so much that we feared it would burn.Overall, though, the house was really cute and fit all our needs.

Hi Betsy, we’re so glad to hear the home was cozy, well-stocked, and a great fit for your trip! We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - We’re thrilled you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the home’s charm and comfort. - During your visit, we were away on vacation and had a friend house-sitting to care for pets, water plants, and collect mail. - Lawn care was scheduled based on the house-sitter’s availability to make sure the yard was maintained in our absence. We’re sorry for any disruption this may have caused. - We're taking your suggestion about adding seating to the front porch into consideration, it’s a great idea and could make that space even more enjoyable. - We’ll also check the landscaping around the fire pit to ensure it’s safe and accessible for future guests. Thanks for your valuable feedback.
