We enjoyed our stay very much. The beach was wonderful, the water crystal clear. The house was neat and tidy. We had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. The staff at the local restaurant were absolutely wonderful!

Great stay!

This was a perfect alternative to a hotel stay for a 3 day event at Whitewater with our teen. Cute, quiet neighborhood and beautiful lake view. The cabin had everything we needed and the owner was accommodating. The bar and grill right across the street has great food and service. Will definitely be back and highly recommend over a hotel stay in Whitewater.

Lovely!

We truly enjoyed our time on Turtle Lake! It was our first but definitely not the last trip to Wisconsin! The house was wonderful-clean, cute, had everything we needed! Great communication and we wish we could have stayed longer. Would book again!.

Comfortable stay in quiet, laid back lake community

We had a relaxing long weekend at Turtle Lake. Our stay was very comfortable, and the VRBO was perfectly situated to enjoy the lake view, sunsets and fire flies from the enclosed front porch. Jeff was easily available via text and responded quickly to any questions.

The lake and area was quiet when we visited. We enjoyed the cabin, the lake views and the rural surroundings. There were couple of cooler evenings and the thermostat controlled wall heater warmed up the cabin quickly. The inside accommodations were just as described. The kitchen was well equipped though the workspace was somewhat limited. Even so, we managed to cook meals from the local farmstand goodies. Overall the cabin exceeded our expectations and we look to having an opportunity to stay there again.

We had a wonderful time at Turtle Lake! The lake is just steps away from your front door, perfect zero entry and an overall calm lake. My kids are in their teens, but it would be perfect for younger children as well. The house was perfectly sized for us - we didn't do any cooking but seemed equipped with the things you'd need.We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Turtle Lake

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The place was exactly as advertised—perfect for a relaxing lake getaway. It was spotless and beautifully decorated, making it feel cozy and inviting. The location couldn’t have been better, with easy access to the lake and surrounding areas. Communication with the host was seamless, and we had no issues checking in or out. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

Quiet Lake Community

We are so happy we chose to stay here for a little summer get away! Cute, quiet little lake community. Bar and Grill right across the street was a great place to enjoy a beer on the patio. Jeff was very helpful and checked in with us a few times during our stay.

Thank you so much for sharing your house with my family. All of us had a wonderful time and made great family memories. Only tip from us is that it might be a good idea to have some throw blankets for the couches. Its nice to have something to cover up with while watching tv in the evenings. Other than that, we couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Family reunion

This was the perfect place to stay, for our once- a - year Wisconsin reunion. With the permission of the owner, we were able to host our family BBQ, and reconnect with our extended family. The lake access and the colorful sunsets, all added to an amazing stay. A little difficulty with communication at the very beginning. It was not the fault of the owner, but was process of working with evolve. All said, we would love to visit again. It was a great place to stay and a wonderful experience.

July 4th weekend

This place was fabulous. It's all updated and perfect for a weekend getaway for 2 or you and your little ones. The owners are super nice and also own the restaurant across the street which is very convenient and a good time. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend and there were fun events going on for the July 4th holiday which added to the trip. We also loved the fact that we were separate from all of the Lake Geneva craziness and still got to enjoy the water at turtle lake. The chairs out front are the perfect resting spot to watch the sun set on the lake and take in the scenery. Definitely recommend the stay, you can't beat the location.

Cute space, great off-season stay

Jeff was very communicative, easy to reach via text. When we arrived the drive way was cleared of snow and the cabin heat was on waiting for us. Jeff even provided a few extra blankets and space heaters, since we did stay in February and little old cabins can be chilly! The cabin was clean, welcoming. The four of us were very comfortable. The updates to the interior were well done without erasing the character of the cabin, too, which was great. It's getting so difficult to find a REAL cabin that hasn't been updated to include every "modern luxury amenity" so it just feels like every other hotel. This place still has some "old lake house charm" left!The bar and grill across the street was nice too. Also owned by the cabin owner! We tried the Saturday supper club menu and were not disappointed! The food was prepared beautifully and did not taste or look like the usual bulk-purchased, premade, fryolated meals many "bar and grills" serve. The chef accidentally made my linguine dish with spaghetti which was - odd. But not bad or worth complaining about. Otherwise, everything was fantastic. We are definitely going to keep this little spot in mind for future long weekends!
