Mosquito party

House is very small but clean. Next to a creek with lots of mosquitoes. Every time you step in or out, expect to be bitten.

This little cabin was adorable. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The only thing we had an issue with was getting the shower hot it got warm but not hot like the sinks could be our error since there was obviously hot water. Also no baking dishes. Very small things. For everything else that was provided it really wasn’t an issue. Thank you for an enjoyable time in this cozy cabin.

Home away from home.

If you’re looking for a stay that feels private and out of town with extra parking and space for the kids to run or to park the boat, then this place is perfect. We enjoyed the outdoor fire place just above the creek! 5 min drive to the ocean, 10 minute drive to the stores. We loved it! Only things (we) weren’t huge fans of 1) was the driveway, it’s a tight fit for pulling a boat through. We made our 24 foot boat through but could only make it through if we came in when turning left. 2) the creek below the house was a little sketchy for little ones. The back yard has a steep hill straight to the creek. I decided against letting my kids play back there at all. One missed step and they would fall down to the creek. I would recommend a small see through fence to avoid that and to still get the beautiful views. Overall, we loved our stay, everything felt at home. Thank you!

Private, clean home.

We enjoyed our stay in this private sweet home. The land surrounding the home was better than expected. There is room to roam by the waters edge, and we found it peaceful. The house itself is as described. It is clean and comfortable. The only suggestion was that the owner fix the non working hand held shower head (the overhead fully functions). I also suggested that they furnish more than one kitchen towel, and more than one roll of toilet paper (we stayed 5 days).The home is spaced at a good distance from other homes and is private. Location was great in our opinion, as it was close to the Bay and also close to town for any needs. We really enjoyed our stay. This property goes through "Evolve" and a property manager. I have not used Evolve in previous rentals, and I did not like it. Return contacts in all previous rentals was very prompt, however I did not find this to be the case with Evolve. I explained at booking that I may need an additional day and advised I would solidify the following day, and did so. However the additional day was not confirmed for weeks, and when it was they raised the price for that day. The house was as expected and that was most important to us, however I would have preferred a smoother booking. I don't regret this rental and would return with hopes that the management would improve.
