Cosy beach cottage! 800m to Golden beach, perfect for couples or families

Welcome to 90 mile beach! Our cosy property has an indoor canara, large family room with couch (includes a double sofa bed) Tv and dvd player. Featuring 2 bedrooms, one with queen bed another with bunks (double on bottom, single bed up top). Large kitchen fitted with gas stovetop, oven, toaster, kettle, coffee pod machine, fridge, and cooking utensils. At the back of the house you will find a dining room and second living space which has another double sofa bed and a privacy screen that can also be used. We also have a portacot availble (byo bedding) Attached to the second living space is a laundry with second toilet.
The dining room holds a buffet cupboard with some family fun- please help yourself to puzzles, colouring and boardgames!
Outside features a back deck and 6 seater table, small bbq, fire pit and a well-sized yard, perfect for having a fire under the stars. This property is located approximately 800m from Golden beach and a 10 minute walk to the General store which makes some of the best fish and chips around!

A perfect place for a beachside weekend. Check in process was a breeze, house was tidy and had just about everything we needed. If we're back in town, we will stay again.

Quiet retreat

Very quiet cottage that is an easy walk to the beach. Great large kitchen that makes cooking for a family easy. Very relaxing stay!

We had a lovely stay overall. The house is a very sweet beach house in a beautiful location, close to the beach with decent-sized waves, which we really enjoyed.There were some issues with cleanliness on arrival. The dust present was not just day-to-day dust, but a significant accumulation, with old items left behind by previous guests found under the beds and couch. As a result, I did need to spend time cleaning during our stay.I would like to note that once I contacted the property manager, she responded immediately, was extremely apologetic, and offered a cleaning discount, which was appreciated. She also would have been more than happy to arrange for someone to come out and clean the property while we were there.Guests should be aware that the area does have a large number of mosquitoes, which did become uncomfortable on some evenings, so this may not suit those who are sensitive or allergic. On the positive side, the wildlife was lovely — there were kangaroos and rabbits frequently seen around the streets and nearby homes.It’s also worth noting that food options are limited. During our stay, the local fish and chip shop was not open, and there is only a small local shop and a restaurant that appears to open on Saturdays. Bringing your own supplies or being prepared to travel around 30 minutes to the nearest town is recommended.Overall, a charming beach stay with a great location, but with a few things to be aware of when planning your visit.
They had a massive lemon tree out the back and a nack yard my 2 little dogs and kids loved.

Great beach house in lovely peaceful location

Was the perfect Christmas get away. Well equipped house only a short walk from a truly beautiful beach. Loved watching the honeyeaters out of the kitchen window and seeing kangaroos hoping past.

Cosy little house :-)

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cosy little cottage. It was comfortable, the bed was comfy and the house was mostly clean. The coffee pod machine and airfryer were AWESOME. (Would have been nice to have a milk frother machine). Overall a great place to stay, thank you!

Perfect for a friends getaway!

We absolutely loved our time at Golden Beach. The check in process was easy and Hollie communicated effectively with us. We loved the additional details of telling us about the carnival on too. Great living room and large kitchen that was suitable for our large group. Highly recommend!

Newly renovated & close to beach

Newly renovated with the essentials to cook at home. Clean and close to beach (walk or drive). Very quick and clear communication with owner for easy check in & out. Some board games and art supplies for kids. Spacious for family of 4 & had a great time

Thanks Hollie , the family and fur baby had a relaxing pre Xmas break , very comfortable and close to the beach. Nice to have a peaceful start to the festive season in a nature rich environment. Kids loved having the wildlife come visit!
