The house is physically breaking in half. There is a crack in the floor from end to end of the house. The house settled during the night to where the back door would no longer latch closed. Doors wouldn't lock or even close, cabinet doors wouldn't open, tiles were loose, and large cracks are in the kitchen/living area, etc. The location was good for our activities, but the house was not the nicest.

Cute little house under the stars

This cute house has all you need! Nice place - we really enjoyed our meals outside on the patio; sunrises and sunsets. Even saw some bighorn sheep in the fields across the road one evening!

Great location

We definitely enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect! Loved the decor! Awesome views! It made my day when we arrived and I could see Mule Ears in the distance, one of my favorite landmarks in Big Bend.

Fun place, great location

Cute house , very comfortable place to stay right next to Big Bend National Park. Clean bathrooms and great hot showers for cleaning up after a dusty day in the park. Lots of spices and coffee supplies, but pots and pans need a little refresh. We had a great time here and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Big Bend!

Great place to explore Big Bend NP

We had an amazing stay at this house in Terlingua! The location is perfect—just a 10-minute drive to the Big Bend National Park entrance. The house was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The outdoor patio with its stunning mountain views was the highlight of our evenings. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Ripoff, Overpriced

Overpriced, worn, and because the front door does not latch, you enter at the back adjoining junkyard. Can’t believe the priced charged for this!!!

Great place

Overall, the place was really awesome. It had everything we needed + it was close to all the attractions in Terlingua and one of the park entrances. The only semi-negative is that neighbors are close by. They aren’t loud or anything but I thought the property would be a little more secluded.

Big Bend, Terlingua base. Perfect.

Very Nice 3/2 convenient to both National and State parks. Nearby Terlingua eateries. Complete accessories including gas and charcoal grills. And, a propane griddle. All in good working order. Clean as a whistle and easy to access. Sunrise and sunset a treat.

Above and beyond

We really enjoyed our stay. It was cut short a day but only because of fall on a trail at Big Bend. I emailed Ryan and let him know what happened and he and a nurse and a paramedic were there in no time to check out my injuries. So very helpful and greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this house.

Everything was as listed, except the closeness of the nearest structure, a driveway away, and was told that the rv park was at least 100 feet away. Other than that, we had a wonderful time in Big Bend an Terlingua ghost town.

Look elsewhere

This property is not as listed. Evolve property management states they hold up their properties on the standards of safety but this property doesn’t lock. There is an RV park within a rocks throw behind you that they never mention. This property is also not clean. Hopefully after our complaints they will correct their problems.

Beautiful stars

The home was clean and very well-stocked, and in a great location for easy access to restaurants. The only potential negative is that if you’re looking for total desolation, the property has several RVers right around the house. However, we were left alone and it wasn’t an issue. I’m not certain if we were supposed to have access to the surrounding area (listing said 30 acres), but we really enjoyed exploring the landscape around the house. The porch was wonderful and the view of the stars and Milky Way were truly magical.

Clean, cozy, and convenient for your Big Bend adventures!

We had a great experience staying here! The house was clean and tidy upon arrival, and a great location for all your Big Bend adventures! My phone had absolutely no service anywhere in the area, but the WiFi worked great, and the home was cozy. We enjoyed hanging out outside in the evenings, admiring the dark skies and West Texas sunsets. Ryan was great and provided us with a list of music in the area the weekend we were there, along with recommendations on hikes and things to do on the paper provided in the home. There were also some others renting space on the property, so just know you might not be completely alone at this location, which was totally fine for us. The neighbors offered friendly waves and we all kept to ourselves. This was my third trip to Big Bend, and I would definitely stay here again.

Positives: great heat and air con Great hot water for showering Very quiet Host responded when emailed Negatives: welcome book with stay info was missing. I never did find it. TV set up was difficult but host did. send someone to try and help. Make sure to have your own streaming services and able to connect by screen casting Bathroom and l.r. had very messy drawers with lots of junk just thrown inside Master b.r. bed was very hard On the surface the space looks nice and has lots of potential but needs a host or owner who really cares about how it looks. Attention to detail could make it feel homey.

No Privacy and not what’s advertised

A/C barely worked, it was hot in the house. The blackstone outside was rusted so we couldn't cook on it, the grill was disgusting, the pans inside we had to wash since they still had grease on them and the one bathroom smelled like sewage. There were also 4 dogs from the 4 RVs on the property that kept coming over. The RVs are 100 ft away…. Way too close. The fire pit was full of burn wood and residue we had to clean before we used it. The bathroom doors were slats so you could see through them if you wanted to and you could hear very clearly through the doors. It really was not what we expected and definitely not worth what we payed or expected based on the add. Not recommend
