30 mins to Whitewater Ski Resort, 45 mins to Red Mountain or explore incredible backcountry terrain on the Kootenay Pass. This home is your perfect home base for your outdoor adventure vacation. This spacious home has 3 comfortable bedrooms. The living boasts an enormous, comfy sectional, and ten foot window. Enjoy your evening in the kitchen, with large island and bar seating. Take a soak in the deep tub after a day on the slopes or walk 5 min to explore alongside the river.
The space
Enjoy the 2 acres of forest this property has to offer. Walk the 0.4 km forest path, gather around the fire pit or hang out in our seasonal hammock grove with outdoor eating area. Walk 3 mins to walk along the river bank, enjoy the views and keep your eye out for wildlife. We have spotted deer, wild turkeys and even a mama moose and her calf!

This home has large windows with forest views on every side. The living room boasts an enormous sectional couch and projector set up with various streaming services. The kitchen and dining room are set up for socializing. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials and kitchen island with comfortable bar seating. Enjoy dinner or a board game at the dining room table.

Each bedroom is unique and designed using natural elements from around the property. The master bedroom (Cedar Room) has a comfortable king bed and unique live edge night tables. The Larch Room has rustic charm with a queen bed and photo-worthy headboard made from trees on our property. The Hemlock Room is cozy and comfortable with a double bed. Each room has closet space, hangers and separate thermostat.
Guest access
Guests are welcome to explore the property. Enjoy the walking paths, hammock grove and forest fire pit! Your hosts are on the property and here to answer any questions or provide information on local adventures. We ask that guests stay out of the outbuildings - but feel free to pop by the chicken coop to say hello to Jeff, Margaret and the Ethels.
