Boutique Updated Home with Much to Offer!

Treat your family to this beautifully updated home with four bedroom and three and half bathrooms!

The kitchen will come fully-equipped and features several updates like granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. A large island makes meal preparation an easy task.

Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining room provides seating for six. The living area is just beyond these two areas and provides a large number of seating comfortable seating options. A large Smart TV is available for your enjoyment.

Outside you'll love having your own private pool to enjoy! Various seating and outdoor dining options are available as well! Being right on the Palmetto Dunes 11-mile lagoon system, you'll be able to enjoy all different kinds of wildlife. A lagoon water feature is located here as well!

The beach is easily accessed by a short bike ride, shorter car ride or by calling the seasonal on-call shuttle service The Palmetto Dunes Buggy! Guests staying with Palmetto Dunes Resort receive discount golf and bike rentals as well as two free hours of tennis/pickleball court time (based upon availability).

This project, undertaken by Hilton Head Island/Beaufort County, is vital for protecting the shoreline, maintaining a wide and beautiful beach for everyone to enjoy, and ensuring the long-term health of the coastal ecosystem.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I'll first say we have been renting for years in palmettos dunes and are a custom to overlooking the little things to enjoy the outdoors. Also, first review ever, but felt it was important at this price point to let others know. So many little issues with the house (that could be fixed in a weekend) if the owners wanted too. Fridge and freezer clearly not working well, toaster broken, pool light broken (couldn't night swim), more than one ceiling fan in the house doesn't work, bathroom mirror missing (found in a closet), multiple broken lamps sitting on the floor in rooms, broken main couch in family room- piece laying on the ground when we walked in, missing TV remote needed to be shared between two rooms, missing top to kitchen garbage = bugs (like a lot more than normal). We purchased fruit fly stuff to control them, but mosquitos indoors and many droppings found daily throughout the property. Again, as I stated above, we are used to a rental house not being perfect inside, as we are there to enjoy the outdoors, but there were just too many small things that added up to make out experience sub-par and disappointing overall. Wish they showed a little more care for their property prior to renting it.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is a 5 star. It was very clean, and the kitchen was equipped with everything. We knew it this property was farther from the beach then we normally stayed, however; the beach access was fine for us to drive to and drop everything and everyone off. One of the guys then drove back and hoped on a bike to the beach which was only about a 2 minute ride. The only complaint was the washing machine. It did not work very well and did not clean the clothes very well. It also made a lot of noise. Otherwise, it is a very nice house in a quiet location.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was really nicely updated and a perfect fit for our family of 5. The boys loved the pool and it was close proximity to the beach. One downside was the really bad mosquito situation. We’ve stayed in palmetto dunes before and never had mosquitos the way they were this year. The lagoon with no moving water seemed to be a factor . On the downside we had to vacate the unit half way through our vacation. It started with the internet not working for two days and then we had rodents in the walls and in the kitchen. Bit disappointed because although palmetto dunes were very responsive we lost two days of our vacation trying to sort out these problems.

Perfect Beachside Getaway in Palmetto Dunes

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing time at our rental house in Palmetto Dunes on Hilton Head Island, SC. The home was beautiful and just a short walk to the beach, making it incredibly convenient for daily beach trips. The pool was a highlight, providing a perfect spot to relax and cool off.One of the most unique and enjoyable aspects was having the house on the lagoon. We loved watching the turtles, birds, and even spotting a few alligators—it was a cool experience that added to the charm of our stay. The palm trees on the property gave a lovely, tropical feel, which was a refreshing change from the woods we are used to at home.This rental was one of the best we have ever stayed at, and we definitely plan to return in the future. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fantastic beachside vacation!
