There is plenty of room for multiple boats to tie up overnight or enjoy the provided water toys. Enjoy a peaceful campfire in the evenings, roasting marshmallows and telling “fish tales” of the one that got away! Lay back on the wrap-around sitting deck high over the water and take in the gentle lake breezes and peaceful harbor activities. A beautiful view of the harbor as it channels off into three different directions. Listen to the lapping waves from the wooden swing at water’s edge. Within walking distance to the beach at Castle Rock County Park with facilities and gas station & convenience store. Gorgeous scenery and all the amenities of Castle Rock Lake!

Fish Tale Cottage offers your family or your gathering of friends and fishermen a lovely setting on 1/2 acres— with long drive leading to the water. This 876sqft main level year-round cottage is perfect for enjoying spring fishing, colorful fall sights, and great ice-fishing in the protected harbor. Water views from the dining room and open living room with large living room windows, two sets of lakeside patio doors, and lots of natural lighting to enjoy your retreat!

There are 2 private bedrooms, with additional sleeping in the living area. The kitchen nook has a small breakfast bar and is fully stocked for your meal preparation. There is one full bath on this main living level. The walk-in level has a half-bath, laundry area, and 500sqft recreational area in the garage access for your convenience. We provide basic essentials but not items like salt, pepper, oil, or paper towels. Please plan to bring these.

The Owners of Fish Tale are pleased to offer their guests FREE use of the 3 kayaks, 2 stand up paddle boards and paddle boat during their stay. That is a $445 rental fee per day you get to use at no expense to you! (Pricing is per www.gonorthward.com/bookonline) A large selection of life jackets is provided (one infant, three 30-50lb, three 50-90lb and six adult personal flotation devices).

Fish Tale is on an excellent location of Castle Rock, only 3 minutes to beaches and fine dining. Partake in championship golfing at Lake Arrowhead or only 10 minutes to Northern Bay Golf Course (featuring 7 holes replicating world-famous holes). Trails and hiking, canoeing, tubing, fishing, wildlife, horseback riding, snowmobiling, county festivals and events. Take in the attractions of the Wisconsin Dells that are only 30 minutes drive! Or do some scenic traveling with a day trip to Spring Green, the Frank Lloyd Wright Center, House on the Rock, and the Elroy Bike Trail. Relaxation or exhilarating activities — the choice is yours!
