Smell the salty air and hear the breaking waves; the ocean is just 400 metres away beyond the sand dunes for daily beach walks. Before long, your wetsuits and towels will be lining the front veranda after long sessions at the beach, and you’ll be relaxing in the sheltered north-facing alfresco while the kids play in the fully fenced backyard. A well-behaved small pet is welcome by request at the time of booking.



Offering up to 4 adults/4 children a place to holiday together, the house offers open plan living and dining with effortless coastal décor. Watch a movie (wifi/streaming capabilities*) in the lounge with year-round comfort of split system heating-cooling. The well-stocked kitchen is fitted with quality appliances, including a Nespresso coffee pod machine. The beautiful timber dining table adds to the homely feel, and the room opens onto the front veranda for your morning cuppa.



The home comprises 3 lovely fresh bedrooms with built-in robes, all beautifully appointed with hotel quality sheets and bath towels (BYO beach towels). Two Queen beds accommodate adults, and a Twin Bunk Room is ideal for children only. Kids will love hanging out in this room, with bean bags to chill out and relax.



Take a walk to the beach and enjoy the roar of the surf on this untouched stretch of coastline and listen to the waves as you fall asleep. Freshly painted and renovated, it has the authentic appeal of a beach shack and is a great spot to base your stay and experience the Bellarine’s coastal lifestyle. Fire pit is provided but fire wood is to be supplied for the guest - APCO or any service station should stock fire wood.

Beaches - Our beautiful local beaches are just 400m away where you can walk your dog (off lead depending on season). Ocean Grove Main Beach offers family friendly swimming, surfing, and walking and is patrolled in summer months.

13th Beach offers long beach walks and waves for advanced surfers.

Barwon River caters to fishing, swimming, SUPing, kayaking, and walking the shoreline.

The house is situated a 25 minute walk from The Terrace shopping precinct, with plenty of cafes and restaurants locally, with many more restaurants, wineries, breweries around the region.

Adventure Park is a great day out with the kids - just 10 mins drive away.



Getting Around:

Our beach house is only 400m to an unpatrolled Surf Beach, and easy walking/riding distance to parks and shops. On and off-street parking available. 1.2km to Ocean Grove Marketplace Shopping Centre, and 2km to The Terrace main shopping strip.

Buses to and from Ocean Grove/ Barwon Heads / Geelong.

Closest train station 30km away (Marshall station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne.

Ocean Grove is 1 hour 20 mins by car from Melbourne.
