It was good’ish
The host Allen was great! He stayed in communication with us and even offered to turn on the heater for us because we weren’t expected to get in until about 10pm. When we arrived the thermostat was showing that it was heating but the vents were blowing cold air and the inside temp read 61. I set the thermostat to 72 and waited about and hour and the temp had gone down to 60. Sent Allen a message through the app, not expecting a response due to how late it was. Looked around the house and there was only one extra blanket. In the morning the temp dipped down k to the low 50’s. Sent Allen’s a text message and he responded right away and came straight over. Apparently it was a known issue that sometimes happens with the thermostat. After that the heater worked, however it was roasting in the back bedroom where my wife and I slept and cold through the rest of the house. And to top it off there’s a vent that can’t be closed directly over the bed in the back room that blows hot air right in your face. We were sweeting all night because when we tuned it down the rest of the house froze. Other than the bipolar heating unit and temperamental thermostat it really wasn’t a bad stay and Allen was great.
