MINGARY is located in Mt Victoria, on the western side of the escarpment and provides breathtaking views of the Kanimbla Valley.
Our architect designed home has just been renovated to provide a great mountain retreat with all the modern conveniences in this magical location. It boasts open plan living, modern bathrooms, an expansive kitchen and a garden retreat to enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

The space - Be among the first guests to enjoy this beautiful home. Enjoy seeing the changing moods of the Kanimbla Valley from the comfort of a place filled with all the creature comforts including a slow combustion wood fireplace.
This home has easy access into and around the house and all living space in on one level - ideal for those with mobility issues.

The property will be for your exclusive use during your stay.

Other things to note
Please note that the following house rules apply -
- only the number of guests on the booking are permitted in the property
- no pets are permitted on the property
- our home is a 'shoes off' home to please bring your indoor shoes or socks
- no parties are permitted
- a quantity of hardwood will be provided in the outdoor shed. If more
wood is required please purchase from Websters Nursery in Blackheath.
- we have cctv monitoring the perimeter of the premises and we reserve the right to cancel the booking if house rules are not adhered to.
- the carport is in use however there is space for two cars on the driveway and plenty of free street parking

Such a beautiful home with absolutely stunning views. From the stunning dinner sunsets to watching a thunderstorm roll in over the Blue Mountains, this home really gave our family the perfect small reunion experience we were looking for. Thanks for being such wonderful and accommodating hosts.

Excellent property in an outstanding location. The bedrooms were all spacious with comfortable beds. The kitchen had ample cutlery, plates and serving dishes. The highlight was the verandah and living area with the view to the valley below. We also enjoyed the fireplace on the cooler nights. Couldn’t really fault the property and would love to stay there again.

The house was wonderful, as pictured and nice and warm with the heating. Beds were fitted with electric blankets but mattresses were not as comfortable as other places. Unfortunately, despite booking the entire place, there was a vehicle left in the carport that we weren’t told about until check-in time. Will probably stay elsewhere next time.

Fantastic property with a great view of Blue Mountain ranges. It hard to fault the property as they have used quality fixtures in all rooms and every detail is tasteful and functional. Imagine there are heat vents in the bathrooms, electric bed warmers, zone controlled aircon, wood fire with spare in the shed, etc.,. All the linen was great quality and well maintained.There is Nespresso capsule coffee in the kitchen, top range equipment everywhere and with all forms of utensils and cutlery. The host was very flexible for early checkin and late checkout. She was very prompt in communication before and during the stay.Simply the best property, view and owner based on experience of a decade of travelling in Australia.

Great Stay

House was beautiful. Well equipped with everything you would need. Very clean. Stunning view and good location. Highly recommend even if it was a bit pricey. Only complaint was the extra charge for having a fifth person stay. It clearly says it sleeps six and it easily does. Not sure why a fee is required for an extra person especially when it’s a family. Clearly a money grab.

We enjoyed staying in this spacious and comfortable home for a weekend break. Fantastic view and good base to enjoy short walks around mt Victoria and Blackheath.

Peaceful and Relaxing

We stayed for a weekend. The property was great. It was very clean. The additional touches of leaving the heating on for us and having the fire set ready to use, were really appreciated. Would book again.

Perfect

This property is absolutely perfect. From the gorgeous unbeatable view, to the crackling fireplace to the fully equipped functional home. I could have stayed here for a lot longer. Cannot fault this property at all. Will absolutely be recommending and returning!

Phenomenal property

Wonderful house, spacious kitchen and living area paired with the perfect view. Exceeded expectations and was an amazing environment to spend some quality family time. We really loved our stay and would gladly come again.

A weekend in the blue mountains

We greatly enjoyed our stay, Mt. Victoria was a central location to many places we wanted to visit, and the home was lovely with an amazing view as promised, a great place for three generations to stay for a few nights. Everything went smoothly, we would certainly return for another weekend away, maybe next time with friends.

We love our spot in Mount Victoria for many reasons. It sits on the escarpment with wonderful everchanging views. There are walks from our door step as well as a short drive from Mingary. We love bushwalking so have provided walking maps for your enjoyment. We have also ensured that the kirtchen is fully equiped and on a cold day guests can enjoy a home cooked meal made cosy by the slow combustion fire.

Our property was architecterally designed and renovated in October 2023. We have maintained a feeling of 'Australiana' and maintained the charm of the building. Everything about this space is new including the kitchen and bathrooms as well as the furniture enabling our guests to enjoy our luxurious property
