The Sea Glass

It is a great location: near the shops in Duck but also tucked into a quiet little lane minutes from the beach. A herd of deer roam the neighborhood and it was nice to see them as we sat on the porch or played basketball. The teenagers enjoyed riding the bikes into town and fishing and crabbing when they weren’t on the beach. The house supplies so many things to make the stay easier. In addition, we had to reach out to management regarding a minor kitchen fan issue and they addressed it immediately and were friendly and courteous. We had a great and easy stay. Definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful getaway Close to the beach, Duck boardwalk and restaurants. Home was very clean and nice gift bag with some essentials when we arrived. Communication with propertyy manager was excellent.

Great stay

We had a great stay at the house! Even though we got rain at the beach the house was so comfortable that we extended our stay another night. The location to the beach is very walkable which was great!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay! Super cute house, cozy and very clean upon arrival. Perfect location, less than 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute bike ride into Duck. The house has everything you could possibly need for your stay. Highly recommend!

We truly enjoyed our four day stay at this home in Southern Shores. The house is on a private road that felt very secluded and provided beach access just a short walk from the house. The owners were quite generous in allowing guests to use all of their beach equipment which made for a very carefree vacation. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, and internet access was strong. The multiple outdoor seating areas were a real highlight, especially the rooftop porch hidden in the trees. We would definitely stay here again.

A true gem

We spent a week on the 11th ave property property named "sea glass". The house is spacious and comfortable with so many amenities. It it a true gem indeed!On the comfort side the rooms are spacious and had great beddings. The are multiple options if you want to kick back at the house, the rooftop crows nest was a favorite of the family when having happy hour, and the screened in patio was the location the family gathered to sip coffee and plan the day. Beach access is short walk away made simple by having quality beach chairs, beach cruisers, beach buggy to carry that cooler, and so many other nice to haves that this property provides as part of the package. When you get back from the beach all sandy you can rinse off on the downstairs shower, and store all your gear in a secure location on the ground floor.The washer and dryer were basically new and worked great, along with all the household appliances. The family favorite on this trip was the waffle maker.. Or perhaps the blender to make the margarita .. We will definitely be back.

Quiet and Peaceful

The house was perfect. Great location. Spacious interior. Screened porch to enjoy without insects. Treehouse top deck made us feel a million miles away from the chaos of the world. Definitely going back there again.
