Great whanau time

Cool little house not much to look at from the outside but once inside its great kitchen old style.

Place was not cleaned when we arrived - bins full, hair on the bathroom floor, gunk in sinks. There was no firewood (middle of winter) and the fireplace is the main source of heating, and the lockbox was broken so took us half an hour to open it.The property manager did bring a heater that night and get us some firewood the next day and get the place cleaned the next day but honestly, this stuff is basic. Was appalled. Also not featured in photos - the staircase is terrifying and a major hazard. That should be shown prior to booking because less able people will seriously struggle getting up there

Sorry your stay fell short of expectations, Vicki. Cleanliness is very important for a perfect stay and the staff was reminded of our standard operating procedures. We will make sure that firewood is provided next time before a guest's stay especially during the colder season. Lastly, I have checked our listing and can see a photo where the stairs are shown. Hopefully, future guests will be able to view them and take into consideration if they have limited mobility. We appreciate your feedback as we improve our service.
