" Home on the Pond" is a beautiful peaceful retreat located 12 km's East of the Town of Grand Bank. Enjoy an evening barbeque under the romantic lite gazebo or watch the sunset in a comfy chair on the dock over looking the pond.
This home contains everything you would ever want for a comfortable stay.
Just a short drive to the west you enter the beautiful Town of Grand Bank where you will find walking trails, restaurants, coffee shops, crafts and grocery stores. The town is very rich in history. So worth the visit.
Just a15 minute drive West you will find the ferry to the French Islands of St Pierre and Miquelon.

Beautiful home in a quiet setting - slept peacefully our first two nights in Newfoundland. Appreciated the heads up about picking up some groceries on our way there. A Perfect Retreat by the Pond

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home nestled by a peaceful pond, surrounded by mature trees and local wildlife. The setting is serene and private - ideal for both quiet times and lively gatherings. The home itself is stunning, with three spacious bedrooms, cozy and comfortable beds, and a beautifully curated decor that made us feel right at home. The kitchen is impressive with everything you need for morning coffee or tea as well as a well stocked pantry, along with dishes and cookware making meal prep a breeze. One of the highlights was the large, well lit, covered patio, and the wrap around deck - perfect for socializing, enjoying morning coffee, or simply soaking in the natural surroundings. The hosts were exceptional - friendly and responsive, and generous with helpful directions and local tips. Check in was so easy. The property is clearly well maintained and secure, which added to our peace of mind throughout our stay. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a place to gather, this spot is a true gem.
