Wasa Lake Family Time

Great cabin with lots of space to sleep. Beautiful property close to the beaches of Wasa lake. We enjoyed riding bikes, swimming and spending time with family. Thanks again for a great experience!

We enjoyed this property. It was big enough for our needs. Unfortunately we did not receive check-in info until 3 hours before our arrival (and we had to remind the property owner to provide access info). (We traveled over 16 hours to get to this destination.) In the check-in info we learned that we would only have access to one fridge (not two as shown in the display /advertisement pictures). A few items were also left in the kitchen fridge freezer which we assumed were not for our consumption. Not having two fridges and fridge freezers put at damper on our enjoyment--we had 11 people and brought a ton of groceries with us.We also did not have access to air conditioning even though it was clearly stated twice on the advertisement for this place. It was one of the reasons we considered this house as it can get very hot in this region of BC. We had to go to bed with the house temperature at 75 degrees F/almost 24 degrees C (a bit warmer than we prefer for bedtime). A few nights it did not cool off in the house. When asked about the AC, the owner told us it was only for the upstairs rooms (private rooms--not included in rental) and if we were hot, we could use the furnace fan (which we did--not that helpful) and/or go downstairs. Not helpful for the 3 hot days we could have used AC for a few hours. (We were there for 7 days.)
