We had a really relaxing stay. The space is light filled, and the fire keeps it cozy .Beautifully and tastefully renovated we found sanctuary.Exceeded expectation, highly recommend!

My wife and I were besotted by the accommodation. It was everything and more than we expected. There was no detail left unresolved. Plenty of supplies for everyday requirements, wood for the fire and fire pit, table settings for 8, spare supplies for daily needs and great wine glasses.We have travelled throughout Australia and this is at the top of our accommodation experiences.

Had a great weekend away staying at the Church Retreat, the purpose of the trip was to go to Cactus Country, but the accommodation made me wish I could’ve spent more time there. Great place and location to unwind and escape the fast paced life a lot of us live, also the neighbours dog was friendly and an absolute delight.

We absolutely loved our stay here as a little family retreat. The place is full of charm, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with everything you could need for cooking. Every detail felt thoughtfully prepared. It was peaceful, quiet, and we had the best time. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

The perfect retreat

Marie is such a wonderful host. Constant communication - always there if needed. The old church has been superbly renovated. The open fire was glorious. Plenty of seating inside and out. A calming and peaceful holiday.

Relaxing weekend

We had a wonderful weekend at the Vines - Wyuna. Communication with the owner was excellent. The place is so close to Echuca and the wineries, where we spent the afternoon on a paddle steamer drifting on the Murray River, and came back to the accommodation where there's a warm fire and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely will be back!

Perfect retreat

Super cute old building that has been beautifully renovated. The perfect place for some quiet relaxation. Not sure what we loved more - the cosy wood fire or the bathtub overlooking a paddock. Kitchen is well equipped, highly recommend cooking something delicious and just enjoying the beautiful space. We were here during some cold, wet weather and thoroughly enjoyed just snuggling up around the fire. Good heating so even in winter it was cosy.

Relaxing and cosy stay

We had such a wonderful little stay at The Vines. It was such a cosy set up. Kitchen had everything you need, the fire was amazing and the bath meant we had a very relaxing stay. There's not much around the area but it's only a 20 minute drive into Echuca/Moama. However, we loved unwinding at the property in the evening so we didn't feel the need to head out. Marie was great with their communication.

Lovely short stay

Marie was very easy to deal with. Property was clean and keeped to era appropriate. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked as good if not better than your own home. The area was lovely and quite yet an easy drive to many towns. We took our great dane and he loved it. The only issue was the extreme weather which is the hands of mother nature. Will book this Property again next time we are that way. Will recommend to very one i can. Loved it

We had the most relaxing weekend away, even our dog was relaxed (: We will visit again soon hopefully for a bit longer ! From the beautiful church which made you feel right at home, cooking pancakes in the morning and spaghetti for dinner in the fully equipped kitchen with lots of cook books for ideas, the bird watching with beautiful song which I could do all day, falling asleep in the outdoor furniture with a raised dog bed for Guido, eco friendly using rain water that tastes so clean and my skin felt so soft after having a bath, taking our pup Guido for multiple walks and got to visit the beautiful horses over the road, having a firepit to roast marshmellows and sit under the stars, playing badminton together, Marie being so helpful with all the local information and setting up the accommodation last minute for us. We got to make a visit to Cactus Country too, one of Marie's suggestions. Thank you so much for helping us press the reset buttonChantelle, James & Guido (:
