The host David was great. The hot tub and view were great. They had everything you could ask for down to the last detail, they even put up a christmas tree for us. We had a absolutely wonderful stay.

Great Stay. House was well appointed. Just beware that the road to the house is accessible via a narrow private gravel road, and it was tricky to maneuver a boat and trailer. I would recommend taking your boat directly to Station 46 Marina just past the B.D. Halfway Inn. Station 46 allows you to launch your boat and store your trailer there for a small daily fee.

Loved the property- some minor hiccups

We loved our stay! We loved the property, where it was located, and the lay out!! We had littles so the open living space was perfect to keep an eye on them while closing off the bedrooms. The adults enjoyed the hot tub almost every night and we spent most our days at local places or tubbing off the dock! The north west (i believe) bedroom did get toasty every evening but we just kept the fan on high to help move the air. Overall great stay!

Beautiful property, amazing location, great views!

We loved the property and met up with another family for a short weekend. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed swimming/fishing off of the dock. House was clean and well taken care of.

Great stay!

We have been renting homes at the lakes in various areas for years for our family and friends, and this home is by far one of the best! It has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, two bedrooms on each side of the home. The kitchen and family room are very spacious and has nice flooring and couches. They’re a bit lacking on the kitchen utensil department (no spatulas, very few sharp knives, no serving spoons) but we travel with our own after years of renting, so no big deal. Dave, the local contact was great! Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating! There was a hot tub just installed, which we used one night and was great! It had a very spacious concrete dock and some grassy spaces for pets. The views are fantastic and the location is great, although it was a bit rough as it’s in the main channel in Laurie, but it was also Memorial Day so that’s to be expected. We will DEFINITELY be staying again, it was fantastic!

Family Vacation 2025

Summer Vacay 2025 with our family and extended family was excellent! The location of property is perfect not too far from the main channel, but far enough away where it wasn’t super busy or hectic. The private dock was great for the kids to swim on, jump off of, and we attached the Lillie pad to it so the little kids could play. The boat lift was extremely helpful, especially since two days was raining so it kept the boat out of the rain. Plenty of places to fish, my son was even able to ride his mountain bike around the neighborhood. There are some gravel roads so the little kids couldn’t ride their bike. My son had a blast though. Station 46 is the closest marina and they were amazing and helpful. They had anything you needed even if you wanted to rent jet, skis, or boats or tubes. Bedrooms are spacious, bathrooms were nice and plenty of space to put things. The laundry room was large enough to where we were able to store the bikes in it while we weren’t riding. The owners are amazing hosts. There was plenty of paper towels, extra beach towels, even toothbrushes, toilet paper, extra wash rags and dish towels for the kitchen, they even had laundry soap there so we could do our laundry without having to go to the store. It was an amazing vacation great property! Great location, amazing hosts!!! Definitely planning on going there again!!

A Great Weekend in a Wonderful House!

We loved this house and highly recommend staying here! :)Highlights: the beautiful view of the lake, a large hot tub, a great main hangout/kitchen space, four bedrooms and three bathrooms, two decks, a fantastic dock just steps away, a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of paper towels and toilet paper provided, and Dave's helpfulness! Lots to love here!Next time, I’d bring extra towels from home, as we ran out between hot tub use and showers. The dishwasher could use a little attention as it was a bit finicky but it worked.All in all, it was an excellent stay, and I hope to go back! Thank you, Dave and team for being awesome hosts!
