Pond Road Park - Raglan Newly open 2024 (Boats welcome)

Open for bookings from February 2024, come and enjoy a relaxing getaway at Raglan’s newest boutique hideaway.

Located just 10 minutes from the Raglan town centre, this idyllic, two bedroom, country cottage features all the comforts of a new build. Sit back, relax and take in the beautiful grounds, established trees and bird song.

Featuring two bedrooms, the master with a Super King bed and the second bedroom with a King Single plus trundler, means there is plenty of room for the family, two couples or 4 friends.

Bathroom, kitchen and lounge provide all the comforts you’ll need during your stay, including fridge, oven, microwave, cook top, coffee machine and air-con for those balmy summer evenings, or cooler winter nights.

A large deck creates the perfect spot for a BBQ with friends or spot to curl up with a book and take in the last of the day.

Unlimited wifi is also available keeping you connected or able to work remotely if needed. Boats welcome, we have parking and water.

Wonderful time had by all, dogs included. Clean, quiet farmstay experience, everything you could need - better than the average bach! Road in is gravel which is not on the listing. Could not fault it! Would stay again. Perfect for dogs, we had two large ones, neighbours dog and resident dog were friendly, both visited and were well behaved. Great comms from landlord too.

Park like setting

Great place to stay especially if you’re travelling with a dog. Property and grounds are very nice and would recommend as a relaxing getaway. The property is well appointed with the small things like adequate toilet paper, condiments and coffee pods. Would stay again.

Was a great stay accommodation was excellent we had 2 dogs and the surrounding countryside was peaceful and relaxing great for all concerned. Would recommend staying there any time had a great time. Paul

Great location

Really cannot praise and recommend this property enough. From first communication through to getting home,the whole experience was first class. The accommodation is outstanding and the location is perfect for Raglan and outlying areas. So glad we stayed here, would definitely go again, most definitely would recommend.

Rural oasis

This was a fantastic place to stay. Felt relaxed with park like setting. Lots of room for boat. Great filleting station. Owners were wonderful to deal with. Would recommend highly.

Perfect private & peaceful accommodation

This place was perfect for what we wanted for the night - it was absolutely private, very peaceful and the view from the unit through the trees was amazing. On top of that it was so nice and clean inside. We had a great wander through the trees and really enjoyed it, thanks Patti!

Relaxing days

Pattie's cottage is beautiful and in a quiet secluded spot. Everything is nice and new and the kitchen is well equipped. It is a 15min drive into Raglan. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed looking out into the garden.

Perfect relaxing get away

Myself, hubbie and fur baby came for a 3 day long weekend and it was just perfect. We basically hibernated as it was the middle of winter so very nippy but the heating was excellent and kept us toasty and warm. We loved roaming the land around the property and it was super safe for the pooch to cruise around. Short trip up the road to Raglan township where we went each day for brekkie, explore, walk, shop and to stock up. 100% would recommend a stay here and we would come back (plus the hosts are really lovely as well).

Raglan Paradise

Quiet, beautifully constructed and furnished 2 bedroom home. Quality Quality Quality... Set in a huge parklike setting with not another home or person in site. This property has approx 100 mature trees. Planted 2 of a kind :) and looked after by previous owner and loved by existing owners. I'm sure you will too. On our stay there were dog shepherding competitions on the hill behind the trees, fascinating. Was wonderful to be in the countryside by so NEAR to Raglan. Hop and skip and we were shopping, site seeing and swimming. Please go - we will go again and again!
