The house itself was fine. Came with what you needed to “live” there. My issues came from the owners and the pool. I’ll start by saying that I have no clue who owns this house. I was given contact info for a woman named Sheri who was supposed to be the owner, to inquire about early check in. I sent her an email a few weeks before our trip asking about the early check in, and sent a follow up a while later both with no response. I tried calling 2 days before check and was told she didn’t answer me because she wasn’t sure? Despite that, she did let us check in early which we were grateful for. Once we were actually in the house we felt the pool and it was ice cold. We checked the unit on the side of the house and it was completely off. I contacted Sheri who sent me the phone number for the owner named Chris which made me extremely confused as I thought she was. I sent him multiple pictures and a video indicating the unit was not even on and was told his pool guy was out of town. I understand the pool would not have been super warm but it was the equivalent of an ice bath. It was important to have a heated pool for our stay and so we paid extra than we budgeted for to rent this one since the listing stated it was a heated pool. All that saying, it made me uncomfortable that i had to text more than one person with inquiries on the home, I have zero clue who actually owns the house, and the pool was not heated as the listing indicated.
