Beautiful home with so much character in a beautiful neighborhood. It was the perfect walking distance to beautiful downtown Granbury. Home was equipped with everything we needed and even some extra touches to make it more comfortable and convenient. Beds were so comfy and cozy and we slept great. Host was amazing and extremely accommodating and we will 100% be back to see our son and future daughter-in-law. One of the very best experiences at a VRBO.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this historic home! It’s beautiful, very well cared for, clean and spacious. Very close to the square, just a brief walk. We will definitely recommend to friends and plan to book here in the future. The communication with the host was fast and informative. Thank you so much for this stay!

We're so glad everything about the stay was great overall and that the location and cleanliness stood out. We appreciate the note about the stove. It is an induction stove and requires the use of the pans provided. This may have been the problem. Nonetheless, we will make sure it's working smoothly for future guests and look into some appropriate signage. Thanks for sharing your experience and for choosing to stay with us.

We loved this lovely home! Enjoyed the outdoor space in the morning before it got hot. It is truly within walking distance of downtown. Communication with host was very good and response time was excellent. One thing to be aware of is that the charming upstairs area (which has three of the beds in the home) is up steep (well lit) stairs. This area has multiple levels to navigate (one that is 24" or more), all of which have with no railings. Everyone in our party was over 70 who get up during the night, so we ended up not being able to utilize this lovely space. Upside is the couch is quite comfortable to sleep on.

So glad you enjoyed the home, the outdoor space in the mornings, and the easy walk to downtown. We're also happy the communication worked well throughout your stay. We do want to note that the upstairs stairs and level changes, while steep, are shown clearly in the listing photos, and there are rails throughout the space, though they are offset rather than running continuously. We appreciate you sharing your experience, as it helps future guests know what to expect when planning which sleeping areas will work best for their group.

This property was a great location and just right for us and our friends. The historical square and the Moments in Time Walking trail were very convenient. The property manager was very responsive to our questions and the few needs that we had.

Just What We Were Looking For

We really enjoyed our stay here for two nights at the end of December. They had thought of everything we wanted - a warm, welcoming, historic home with bedside tables and lamps, places to plug in phones, blackout shades in the bedrooms, comfortable beds, and a relaxing environment. We enjoyed being able to walk to town and our dog enjoyed the backyard.
