This is a very large, sparsely furnished home, which includes a playroom. Probably ideal for a family with small children if you’re comfortable with stairs (carpeted). If not, bring gates! For our all adult group, it was too sparse. Could’ve used some end tables with lighting in the bedrooms, etc. It was nice when some wanted to stay up later than others. Due to the layout, nobody disturbed each other. There were very few towels. Bath towels or dish towels. We were told that they should be there & would be delivered, but that never happened. Communicating with the host was frustrating.Very limited on the kitchen supplies as well. No measuring devices, that sort of thing. Also would’ve liked the mattresses to have covers between the sheets. Maybe we’re spoiled and expecting too much? We’ve rented two other VRBO’s in Eugene, both of which were designed to go above and beyond as far as making us comfortable.

Host did not respond to messages sent regarding cleanliness and dishwasher leaking. Photos were sent regarding issues with no response whatsoever. The home was not cleaned prior to our arrival and I do not feel we should be responsible for the cleaning fee.

Everything was great. The only things we wish would have been available were a second nightstand for the master bedroom, extra blankets and towels available, and wash clothes for showering.

The location, particularly for UofO families, is perfect. Just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the university to feel at home, but honestly... takes 7 minutes to get to campus. GORGEOUS morning runs and walks just outside the door. House has all the mod cons and beds are super comfortable. Fireplace makes the environment just perfect. We will certainly be back.

Great house close to campus

Perfect little house within easy driving distance of UO. We stayed while moving our daughter in and everything worked out great. Host very kind and responsive.

Shouldn't be a Rental

For the amount of money, we spent on this VRBO I anticipated a completely different experience. The house was DIRTY! Huge stains on the carpet as you enter the property, mustard stains on the chairs in the kitchen, each bathroom at stains in the toilets, the mater bathroom shower was not clean at all, mold and soap scum all over the master shower, dust on surfaces, hand railings were disgusting going up and down the stairs, walls were dirty, marked up. Coffee maker didn't work, knives dull,not a well equiped kitchen for cooking, sinks did not drain in bathrooms. Trash cans full and overflowing outside. No lamps furniture beat up.

Just missed being great.

There are a lot of really good things about this home. It is comfortable and has a good arrangement. The pictures do it justice. If you have younger children (we don't), this would be great for them, with a lot of games and toys, and one kid's bed in a race car frame. (Note that it does not appear to be baby-proof.) The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms large and clean, the kitchen is well-appointed. It's in a newish development east of the main part of Eugene, but it's like 10 minutes away, so close. But...there are just a few things missing. The backyard is nicely landscaped and has a propane grill...and absolutely no outdoor furniture of any kind. The carpet is old and stained in places. It could use a couple of bedside tables. There's a garage, but not one that guests can use. So no huge problems, but a few little things that keep this a notch below five stars.

Nice house with plenty of room

We enjoyed our stay here. The communication with the property manager/owner was outstanding. We were getting into town a few hours early and were able to check-in early. We also locked ourselves out, he was very gracious and sent maintenance to help us! A few things could be improved on- New linens would be nice. The sheets in the primary seemed to have nail polish or something on them and we couldn't find washcloth's anywhere. Also, no bedside lamps in the primary bedroom, not a deal breaker it just seemed odd. A small patio set would be nice to enjoy the morning or evening weather on the back patio.

Great house for track/university families.

We were in town for a week of track at Hayward Field. The house suited our needs perfectly. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, easy drive to the University. Great communication between Navi and I. This home had everything we needed. We would stay again and happily recommend.
