Stateline favorite! This air-conditioned 2-story 3BR/3BA family vacation rental in South Lake Tahoe is close to everything. Walking distance to the beach, Heavenly Gondola, casinos, and the best restaurants and shopping. Loaded with modern amenities including a 65" Smart TV in the living room, 55" TVs in two bedrooms, fully updated kitchen, gas BBQ on the balcony, and so much more.

The spacious, open-concept living area is perfect for cozying up around the stone fireplace or watching a movie on the mounted HDTV while the chef prepares dinner. Large windows let in incredible natural light. The kitchen features granite countertops, an expansive island, French door refrigerator with bottom freezer, professional gas cooktop, dual ovens, and a dishwasher -- with four stools at the island for collaborative cooking. Grill up dinner on the gas BBQ on the balcony.

The downstairs primary suite features a king-sized bed, 55" Smart TV, and ensuite bathroom with jetted bathtub and spacious walk-in shower. The 2nd bedroom upstairs has a king bed and 55" Smart TV. The 3rd bedroom on the lower level is perfect for kids with 2 queen beds each with a twin bunk bed above.

Excellent location, 3 minute walk to Heavenly Village. WiFi seemed to be alittle weak and refrigerator wasn’t very cold. Everything else was great, would definitely stay here again.

Christmas Ski Vacation

Property is close to Stateline and walking distance to the Gondola. Condo is comfortable and clean. We spent 2 full days at the condo without leaving because it was cold & snowing. Had a wonderful time & would stay there again.

A great option

Clean property, walking distance to shops and restaurants. It was a great option for 3 couples. We each had our own space, but there was plenty of room for us to hang out together. Communication from the property manager was excellent.

Great for a Family Stay!

We had a great time staying at Tahoe Woods! Our family of 10 comfortably fit in this spacious home. The property is a 5-6min walk to Heavenly Village - perfect for our family of snowboarders. The house was equipped with everything we needed to make breakfast in the morning.. just did a quick run to the grocery store for necessary items. Check-in process was smooth and communication from the property management was excellent! Thank you for a great stay!

The only cons in our opinion was that beds were too stiff and we did not like the automatic lights in bathroom in the middle of the night.

The location of this condo is excellent. Being able to walk to the beach, gondola, shopping, restaurants and entertainment was perfect for us. The condo has comfortable furniture and we really enjoyed the small covered porch. Both couples were disappointed that each bedroom only has one bedside table and lamp. The other person has nowhere for their alarm clock/phone, sound machine, eye mask(no blackout curtains), etc...or a lamp for reading. The condo was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The insulation between condos is minimal, so there is lots of noise from others in the building, especially if they have small active children. We enjoyed the table shuffleboard.

The unit was spacious and in a good location. Fairly easy walk, with gear, to the gondola. The low rating is due to the property management company, they were terrible to work with. I booked through Vrbo, then the property management company contacted me separately and made me fill out a bunch of extra forms which totally defeating the purpose of booking through Vrbo. They kept calling and leaving voicemails but would never answer when I called back. Took days to connect. Then in the week leading up to arrival I kept getting emails about getting discounts for coming early. On the day of arrival I called to see if we could access the property a little early since I knew there wasn’t another stay before us. We were about 2hrs early, nothing crazy. They said no because the property hadn’t been cleaned. I asked a question about the door code they wouldn’t answer a simple question, just told me to refer to the email. I was told to text them an hour ahead and check again. I did and they ghosted me. We sat at the property for two hours, no one ever showed up to clean, it had clearly already been done. Again, the unit was nice but we won’t stay at another property managed by this company, they ruined it.

Unfortunately, the rules for vacation renters in the City of South Lake Tahoe are SO strict (our city's vacation rental ordinance is one of the strictest in the entire country). We also apologize we were unable to grant an early check-in for your stay, we needed the full amount of time to ensure the home was in great condition. Everywhere charges for parking so staying this close was nice. THe place was great although the driveway is a little challenging to get in and out of if you have a larger vehicle. Also, every night was quite until our last night when a group with kids came to the third floor above us. We literally could hear conversations and it sounded like the running of the bulls ups there well into the night. Even though our bedroom was on the first floor and they were on the third, we could hear lots of noise. I went up at 11pm to say something. That is the only issue. Everything else was great and would go back as long as people are not in the unit above us which we would never know.

The cons were that there were spiders and ants downstairs. The refrigerator was cool at best; we lost about $100 of meat because the fridge was not cold enough. The beach nearby was private and cost $30 per adult for one day. The view from our balcony was an alley and a garbage container. There were no beach chairs or coolers at the property. Most of where we have stayed in the past had beach chairs, toys, coolers, etc. We had to purchase while there. Overall, the location was great (the reason for the 4 stars), but I expected something else for the price. I would not rent this property again, but I would rent from the management company.
