Peaceful, cozy retreat with stunning views of ocean

We had an unforgettable time at The Loft in Bay Bulls while celebrating our first anniversary. The space was beautifully clean, modern, and incredibly peaceful — exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. We especially loved enjoying our morning coffee and toast on the patio while soaking in the stunning views.We appreciated the thoughtful touches — including a bag of local Jumping Bean Coffee (delicious!), which made our mornings even better.The location is perfect — just a few minutes from the boat tours and close to great local dining. We had a fabulous dinner at Stone Ducky and listened to live music on the patio — the young fellow performing was so talented and plays every Thursday.We also attempted the nearby trail to The Spout without reading the full map first — we hiked an hour each way, and while we didn’t make it to the geyser, the coastal scenery, ocean sounds, and fresh air made it totally worthwhile. We recommend reaching out to your hosts for hiking tips before heading out!Overall, a beautiful and relaxing stay — we would absolutely return. Great place to stay, felt very new and clean, only thing I wished it had a couple more amenities, particularly in bathroom. Probably the most beautiful decorated and clean place I’ve ever had and I’ve stayed at many over the years.

Quiet location with a great view overlooking the mouth of the harbour at Bay Bulls

This is a very tastefully presented property with friendly, but unobtrusive hosts. Yes, the property is small, but it is workable with and the outdoor balcony provides a wonderful place to sit, watch and enjoy the view.The location allows exploration of the peninsula, easy access to Whale Watching and Puffin boat trips in Bay Bulls and then returning home. We both loved our stay in this accommodation.

Lovely loft with a beautiful view from a private balcony. There was everything we needed plus some nice personal touches. It was like brand new and spotless. We would definitely recommend this rental.

As advertised!

This was a great place to stay! It is in a great location to day trip to most of the Avalon Peninsula including St. John’s. You are so close you could walk to 3 whale watching tours and for the adventurous it is a 4km walk to the Bay Bulls lighthouse on the East Coast Trail. The balcony looks out over Bay Bulls which was great for the never ending search for whales (bring binoculars). It was very clean, had everything we needed and was very quiet and private from the house. The hosts were quick to reply and were very friendly and helpful.

Dreaming of NL

If your looking for a place that is quiet, beautiful view, stocked to the gills, inviting and cozy you want to stay here! Loved our two nights and would love to come back. Hosts are so accommodating and friendly. It’s actually close to St. John’s about 30 mins was perfect. We would highly recommend to stay here and do the drive to St. John’s along the water way.

Loved our stay. The suite was very clean and very well decorated. We were impressed by the attention to detail in stocking the suite and the hosts were very cordial.
