Located in Northport MI, The Barn is the perfect place for a small family getaway. The home looks modest from the outside as it is a converter pole barn building. But the inside will have you enjoying modern amenities and a spacious layout.

Driving to The Barn, you will be taken aback with the beauty of the surrounding nature. The wooded lot provides you with a lot of privacy and we highly suggest taking some time at the provided fire pit to enjoy the surrounding serenity. The wildlife abounds with plenty of deer, squirrels, rabbits, birds and more. The location puts you short distance to the Village of Northport for groceries, restaurants, shopping and fantastic public beaches. A slightly longer drive will put you in Traverse City, MI- home of the National Cherry Festival. The surrounding areas offer so much for tourists to take in if you wish or if you just want peace and quiet- The Barn is the place to be!

The Barn offers guests who are needing a more accessible place to stay a step free entrance, on premise parking, and access to the primary bedroom, bathroom and living spaces without climbing steps. The fully stocked kitchen is a great space to prepare a meal and the kitchen island also serves as dining space. The living room with a Smart TV is a great space for the family to gather but when you need to spread out- each sleeping space has a tv as well. The primary bedroom has a queen sized bed. The loft space has 2 full sized beds and is a great space for the kids to play and sleep. The bathroom has a tub/ shower combo.

There is a washer and dryer available for guest use as well.

Please note that this home is rented for your quiet enjoyment. Due to liability reasons, township rules and insurance policies, day guests are not permitted without expressed permissions from Management. Guest capacity for the home is NOT to be exceeded at any time. Guests not adhering to this rule could face a fine or eviction as outlined in our terms and conditions that are agreed upon by renting our home. Capacity is strictly enforced and randomly checked.

We will provide a starter package of paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap, and dish soap. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase more of these items. Other items not included in this list are not guaranteed. Please reach out to management to inquire if a particular amenity is important to your stay, or plan accordingly.
