Condo on Grand Bahama not Nassau. Safe neighborhood. 1 restaurant walking distance, 3 min walk to beach, 3 min drive to Stop n' Shop Grocery, 10 min drive-downtown, 15min drive-airport.

We love eating outside on our front outdoor patio, the wonderful seaside and pool view, the warm tropical breezes, the garden view and of course the beautiful sunsets.
Stroll over to the beach down the path to get a dip in the ocean then come back up to try out the pool. The outdoor shower is conveniently located in the pool area.

We have also found some wonderful restaurants within 15 minutes or less of driving. Some of these include: The Galley Bar & Restaurant at Xquisite Catamaran Center (5 min drive from us), Seagrape Grill & Restaurant/Coconuts at Island Seas (12 min drive), The Food Court at Rayvin Mall has a variety of different but excellent food choices - You can try great Bahamian dishes as well as other island food like Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad, Guyana. You can try out different flavours of smoothies there too and dont forget there is an icecream booth. While you wait for your food in air conditioned comfort, you can saunter around the shops and pick up some souvenirs to take home.

Port Lucayan Marketplace (12 min drive) features many wonderful restaurants as well as some good souvenir shopping. An open air fun place to walk around as you decide which place you would like try out.

We always find time at least once per visit to Grand Bahama to head over to the Grand Lucayan restaurant, Portobellos, for their Sunday Brunch which includes all you can drink champagne and some very decadent desserts.

We love to take our visitors to Pier One Restaurant at the Freeport Harbour so they can enjoy a nice burger and fries and have a live showing of sharks in the waters below. You can even buy them a meal of raw fish from the restaurant and throw the pieces for them. Make sure you go on a calm day for optimal viewing!
