Great Pet Friendly location

The location is excellent in terms of proximity to river, beach and township. The only thing to be wary of for next 6 months is that the neighbouring property is being constructed so tradies there by 7am - so don’t expect quiet sleep ins! Yard was a little small for our fur baby but plenty of easy beach walks made up for it. Watch your head on back door if you are 6 foot tall or more! Overall a lovely stay in a beautiful town.

Hi Leigh Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear you had a 5* stay. I understand there is currently construction happening next door however this is something that is out of our control. I have been reassured by the builders that this work is not undertaken on weekends, unless informed, and that the work isnt started until 7:30am on week days. We are glad on the whole you had a great stay and enjoyed the location.

Cottage review

The cottage was lovely although smaller than it seemed from the photos. In addition, the kitchen was not particularly useable- there is a cheap oven with bad electric hobs and a cheap aluminium pan so we had to change our plans to cook in the house. Because premium rates are charged for the cottage, i would expect higher quality utensils, it was really just a student kitchen. Anything we used also had to be washed first which wasnt good enough.Unfortunately i would not stay there again or recommend it.

Thank you for your review, we are however very disappointed. The oven is new, and the hobs have been checked and are in perfect working order. We are also confused as there are no pans that are made of cheap aluminum, all pans have ceramic exterior. This property is listed as a small cottage and therefore we are sorry if you feel this was not adequate however the kitchen area is clearly displayed in the photos. We are sorry if you feel that there were issues with cleanliness of the utensils, this has been followed up with our housekeeping department however we do wish you had made us aware on your arrival so we could have attended to any issues promptly.
