We had a great stay! Central location to town and the ocean! Very clean, well stocked and beds were very comfortable. Our host was easy to get a hold of and accommodating when we had to leave a day earlier. The best part of our vacation was being able to bring our dog with us. So happy this place is pet friendly!

We are an energetic elderly couple and are so happy to have found this comfortable cottage in Oceanside Village Resort in Parksville. The location was perfect, in a very quiet area yet close to everything we wanted including Rathtrevor Beach. It was very clean and well decorated, stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay (we appreciated the folding chairs to take to the beach) and even had a private porch front and back, so that we could sit outside with coffee early morning and late night. There are two bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, washer/dryer, 3 tvs, a bbq, and all you need in the kitchen. Glynis, the host, was very nice, this was the first time we had rented a cottage like this and she made it very easy for us, answering my questions and letting us know she was there if we needed anything. Five stars for this cottage and we will book it again!

Perfect Holiday Home Away From Home

Lovely cozy home, spotlessly clean, very comfy beds & well-equipped for a family stay. We were able to relax from the moment we arrived because Glynis had thought of all the details. We’ve stayed at quite a few VRBOs now and this is our new favourite. Location is central to so many amenities, beaches and restaurants.

Cute and comfortable cottage in Parksville

Clean property with lots of thoughtful touches like puzzles, games, and books. Also couch throws, saran wrap, reusable shopping bags, fans, beach towels, umbrella, lawn chairs. There was even laundry soap for an unexpected load of laundry. Really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely cottage close to the beach

This is the second year we stayed at a cottage at Oceanside Village and we were very pleased. Cottage had every amenity we needed; it was clean, spacious, well equipped, and very comfortable. Communication with host was great.
