Gorgeous place with awesome view! It was perfect just for the two of us. The area is great and 5 minute walk to the beach! Pool was fabulous too. We will definitely return!

Quiet get away

Never again on the 4th of July

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only customer service is via calling from the phone. There Is no desk or office that i could find for any type of help. I had to keep calling the number provided to get an answer for any questions. The customer service representative was polite and did her best to help but was not knowledgeable of the rules nor where everything was located on property. Later in the trip we found there is an app with maps and schedules which would have been great if we would have known earlier.They advertise that it is a short walk to the beach but they don't disclose that its an uphill walk back. If you have any kind of medical problems i would recommend to drive because their tram doesn't go up the hill for whatever reason.

April 2024 stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental unit was very nice and clean. Great location. Pool was closed all but 2 days of our stay so that was a bummer as it would have been nice to know that a head of time. We had no idea we could take a bus to the other side of the gated community until a couple days into our stay. It would’ve been really nice. Had the room we were staying in had some sort of book of information about the resort and things to do around the resort. We managed to figure it out and it was a great vacation and we would definitely stay here again if we choose to come back to Destin, Florida.

The property and location were excellent. Plenty of stuff to do and restaurants to choose from. We’re really bummed out that the pool was closed all but two days when we were there. That would’ve been nice to know before we booked but overall it was a great vacation and Sandestin and Miramar beach was wonderful.

Destin Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The experience overall was pretty good. The room was ample for us, and came with plenty of beach items, like chairs and an umbrella. The balcony was a little small and a tad scary. I was a little disappointed with the cleainess of both the bedding (hairs from someone who had just gotten a haircut) as well as the shower (the shower curtain had a lot of mildew on it).The facilities were great overall, and it was nice having a vending machine and a huge ice machine available. The pool area was really nice and i probably enjoyed it the most.The shuttle drivers were mostly great and helpful. We used the shuttle a lot, and even was picked up several times in golf carts in between shuttles, which was even better as they took us directly where we needed to go. I had family staying too far to walk, so this was really helpful.The Beach House restaurant was terrible, although there were plenty of other nearby options that were really great. The beach access was not too far and was also very nice.

Such a great vacation spot!

The gated community that the Laui is in is so cute!! We had access to multiple pools, a restaurant in walking distance, and a private beach area! Our room even came with a few beach chairs that came in super handy! Me and my fiancé will definitely be staying here next vacation!

The property was clean. It was 5 minutes from the beach. Communication was poor, several calls were made with questions but no return calls. Title was misleading, it states on a beach resort, but you don’t have access to any of the amenities offered.

The property description is accurate - a studio with a kitchenette and balcony with beach views. The property management team with My Vacation Haven was ready to help, though we didn’t need anything. Luau I 7105 is short walk to Sandestin beach, and not far from Baytowne Wharf and Grand Boulevard. We would absolutely recommend this unit to family and friends!

First Visit to San Destin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, very pleased with the room and rental experience. It felt newly decorated, clean, and a was a good place to relax. Air conditioning worked well. Was surprised, however, that the sliding glass door leading to the balcony would not open. Kitchenette was well-stocked with supplies and a working mini-fridge. Only inconvenience was having to get ice from the only ice machine located in a separate building (Luau II). Was disappointed that Luau guests were required to stay in the “general San Destin” section of the beach instead of having a designated beach section for Luau guests or full beach access. Would highly recommend Pompano Joe’s, Dewey Destin, and Surf Hut for great seafood with awesome beach/water views.

Heaven on earth

Fall break getaway

Reviewer Comments: Overall a nice stay, pool was freezing cold, a heated pool for the time of year would have been very nice, unit was nice and clean, great location, first night we arrived from a late flight, around 1230am, no empty parking space in the garage, had to park across the street and carry luggage up entrance area to the property, only other negative was the balcony wasn’t even big enough for a chair, only to stand on, and the sliding door going out was very very difficult to open.

Perfect for our family of 3!

This was a wonderful place to stay. We had everything we needed and more. The room was so clean and that's always my concern when traveling but it was spotless. We will stay here again for sure...no need to go anywhere else.

Enjoyable

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Our only complaints would be we were on 11th floor and the elevator went out one evening so guests had to take the stairs. The other would be that there is no cable and our remotes didn't work to access Netflix that we did available to us. We had to find sports bars to go to in order to watch the sports we wanted to watch a couple of evenings.
