この施設について

Grants Farm Idyllic rural retreat

The property no longer stocks farm animals, but there are wild birds! set on 20ha. The apartment is 850 sq ft. Totally self-contained and attached to the hosts property but completely private with independent access. There are two bedrooms one queen bedroom and a super king bedroom. in addition, we have a very comfortable fold out sofa bed. Living area has a log Burner and electric heater.

Home built aeroplanes, wild birds, nature walks, shops restaurants, and beautiful beaches are within minutes. Perfect home away from home, only 12 min to Otago University,10 minutes driving from the centre of Dunedin we are a lovely peaceful place.

Our host Tom was fabulous, the bach clean and quiet. It was secure because Tom was always next door which made it feelhomely all the time.

I was a little wary when booking about being under the one roof in separate self contained accommodations in relation to privacy, but the owner Tom welcomed us, made sure we were comfortable and left us to it, he is quite the character and knows a lot about the local area. This was probably one of the most welcoming properties we went to, with all the coffee supplies, soaps, shampoos and extras that really is old school hospitality where we really did feel like welcomed quests.

Grants Farm

our 2 nights accommodation was well accommodated by Tom Grants B&B with private 2 bedroom unit and spectacular views of the farm, hills and pine trees. Our boys enjoyed the toys and books. Very peaceful and quiet area, with a fireplace, heaters, warm cosy beds. Tom made sure we always came back to a warm house! Definitely returning here!
