Our little slice of paradise is located a short drive from Emerald Falls and Dinden National Park where you can find yourself surrounded by amazing water holes and walking tracks... but still within a 5min easy drive to the town of Mareeba.
The space
The Scarlet Gum has been designed to connect with nature like you never experienced before.

It can accommodate a couples or families. It has a beautiful fire pit just outside the retreat to enjoy the starry nights.

Appreciate nature while taking a bath or enjoy the open shower after a long day out exploring.

The Scarlet Gum is one of our 3 hidden gems. A unique place to relax with beautiful views over stunning bushland. This is nature at its best. Take a 300m nature walk and it will take you to our friendly miniature farm animals. Our miniature donkeys, goats, pigs, peacocks and chickens are much loved by the kids.
