property was clean. however, no amenities. no pool table or Other group activities as in other VRBO stays. the driveway/entrance to property is in severe disrepair. very rocky and steep. not recommended for low-clearance autos. if you don't have 4-wheel drive, this road would be very difficult to navigate. owner did not supply toilet paper. the description stated 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. we did not have access to 1 of the bedrooms and 1 of the bathrooms. locked doors and stern warning not to try to open. no wi-fi or TV service. we were not able to communicate with owner to ask any questions about property or how to access the wi-fi.

The house was really really nice, had everything we needed and more , very spacey, we liked the animal heads in the house, really loved how the house looked, but the biggest downfall was going up the mountain to the house, the road was very slim and if we turned too much to the left or right, we could of fell off, the drop is very deep, please be safe, and have really good tires

Beautiful House

The place is as pictured and absolutely beautiful. However, there was no warning of how bad the extremely long driveway was to get there. We were a group of 6 friends on 5 motorcycles, and had to rent a SUV just to shuttle ourselves up the driveway. I also should have noticed it on the amenities, but there is no AC at all, so definitely gets very hot visiting in July. The property was not mowed, so we were not able to use the fire pit as there was 2 feet tall grass around it. There was multiple trash bags in the basement and trash in the master bath from the previous tenant, and no fitted sheets on the mattress. Honestly, I've been staying at VRBO's a couple times a year for the past 6 years and this is the first time I've left a somewhat negative review. The property is truly beautiful, I hope that they would do a little more to maintain it properly and then it would be a 5 star.

The house was very clean and neat as described. The location was exactly as described and it was amazing!! There was enough room for all of us to have a wonderful time not getting under each other's feet but still having my family together 12 Popeyes was just amazing It was quiet the days were a little warm we went at that time of the year but the nights were so cool you could sleep with all your windows open she's I haven't slept with windows open in my home for years. I loved everything about this house if I had only one complaint it would be the beds have heavy quotes on them instead of smaller blankets and that's not really a complaint. We already looking at booking for later this year and again next year It was very peaceful very quiet very nice place to be The town and the people around there were amazing and there is so much to do with all the state parks. Five generations were on that couch one afternoon it's an amazing place. With the most amazing sunset you're ever going to see too. Check in and check out as well as communication with the property owners was top-notch.

Wonderful Mountain Top Getaway

The home in Forksville is a perfect, secluded getaway if you want to explore the Loyalsock Creek, state forest, or just have some time to relax and enjoy incredible views and sunsets. We had an awesome guy's weekend and the house is a perfect setup for a large group of friends or family. We loved the sights and fresh air of Walker Mt. and enjoyed meals and board games in the airy and sunlit dining room. There was plenty of space for our group of 8 to spread out too. The numerous trophies make great photo ops too! Our group is already talking about trying to repeat our trip next Spring and would definitely put this house at the top of our list to return to the area. It's a bit off the beaten path, but the price and location are absolutely worth it!

A great property

The house was great. Was just 2 adults but the house is huge and can accommodate a lot of people. Nice and private at the top of the hill. Was close to everything we needed. Host was good at getting back to us with any questions.Only real downside is the private road to the house. It's not great. We were ok with a Ford edge and a Tesla y but just be aware if your car as low ground clearance or it's snowing.

Beautiful property, very peaceful

The house on walker mountain was very beautiful and serene. Good proximity to ricketts Glen and worlds end for hiking. Kids enjoyed it.
