Nice quite area

Enjoyed this ur stay for sure. Was very quiet area, very close to Ouachita national park. Check in process was a breeze. It was very cozy! Air worked well, bed is comfortable. Would book again for sure!!

Relaxing get-away

This was the perfect weekend get-away spot! The scenery is so beautiful and there are plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy it! Our favorite were the Adirondack chairs on the dock. They were perfect to sit and have a cup of coffee while enjoying the water. The kayaks were so much fun and we also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. Melanie greeted us when we got there and we ran into her a couple of other times during our stay. She was great and very helpful!!! We really enjoyed chatting with her. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to have some simple meals in if you decide you don’t want to get out (pots, pans, hot plate, toaster oven, crock pot, etc.)! We will definitely be back and can’t wait for next time!!!

Cozy room with a serene view of Lake Desoto

Clean and comfortable room within a few feet of Lake Desoto. Enjoyed sitting on covered porch and gazing across the water and listening to the birds in the trees and watching waterfowl feeding & swiming near the shoreline. Can easily kayak almost directly from the door right onto the smooth waters of the lake. Communication with property owner was always prompt and helpful. Highly recommend.

This was the perfect size for my husband and I with our 2 dogs. Loved the lakeside view/location. Staying within Hot Springs Village was also a nice location with amenities. The only small issue I had was that I wanted to cook more, but there was no stove/oven. Could use microwave and toaster oven no issues, then there was this little electric camping stove that didnt heat well and a very small frying pan that we couldn't do much with. Honestly that would be my only complaint, otherwise this place was great and the fact that the owner lives onsite upstairs separately doesn't bother us at all. Considering going back already! Thank you for the great studio!

Sloping walk way. Steps need railing for safety. Dock needs repair at first step. Owner needs to clean spiders away from home. Quarters was very nice.

Comfort, Fishing, Chilling, Lake Life

Outstanding from check in to check out. The owner was so helpful, ensured all accommodations were easily accessible.and more. Gave us a list of all the local events for the weekend. Above and beyond! My fiancée and I chilled and enjoyed the 4th of July. We enjoyed kayaking, relaxing on the dock, fishing and boating. All the amenities listed were perfect. Pontoon rentals are available on Lake Desoto. *Fishing was outstanding off the dock. Caught multiple 5+ lb bass. And then I caught my personal best, 11lb 8oz bass! All released. If you’re an enthusiast or casual angler, this is a honey hole. Kids will have a blast catching plenty of perch. We will come back to this gem.

Maybe these comments will help the manager better prepare for next Tennants

The property was an excellent location. However, alot of tree large twigs were not cleared made us have to be extra careful where we walked at night. She complained we were early (20 minutes).The interior was nicely decorated. There was mold on shower curtain and corners of tile in shower. I had to bleach clean so before showering. There was no vacuuming done of carpet or under bed. Was afraid to remove stuff from under bed because i wasn't sure if was hers? The amenities said there was an iron and ironing board there was not. When i texted her askin where they are she said no she didn't have one. Then came later with ironing board and iron said she borrowed from neighbors. We did not use. She posted incorrect information for wi-fi which made me have to call her. I was very uncomfortable having to ask for stuff that should have been taken care of because she just seemed agrivated. Look, we are nice people and we don't like to complain about anything but if she was a little nicer you wouldn't have to read this.
