Great location

Good area, clean property and good views from the top level. Could do with a bit of modernisation though as the bathrooms are a bit tired.

Beautiful sunsets in Strandon

The windows framed the sea views perfectly. House was spotless and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Having the lift make unpacking very easy. Beach and coastal walkway were super close and New Plymouth is a 10min bike or 5 min car ride away. Hosts gave great communication. This kids already want to go back again.

Fabulous Property

We totally enjoyed our weekend in this fabulous place. Everything was as described, simple to access, loved the lift for the bags! Great garaging, wonderful decks to take in the both the views and hear the sea. Highly recommended. Great location. Will more than likely use again in the future if ever in New Plymouth. And great communication. Thanx Heinrich & Nicayla

A nice house in a nice location. We rated the place as a 3 because we found 2 of the 3 beds were extremely hard and most uncomfortable. A few other little niggles that we have discussed with the owners. Otherwise, an enjoyable stay near the beach.

Very nice place

We enjoyed our stay here, and Heinrich and Nicayla could not have been more kind. The house was clean and comfortable, and had great views of the ocean. And it included some snacks! We enjoy walking so we were ok being about 25 minutes walk along the coast from the heart of the New Plymouth restaurant area. A note: Important not to drink and drive in New Plymouth! There were 3 sobriety checkpoints we drove through in less than 24 hours! Take rideshare (easy to do)!

Very handy to the seaside walkway.

I was disappointed that the lift wasn’t working. I wasn’t notified and I unpacked all the food etc and bags into the elevator and then discovered it was out of water. No hairdryer down in the bottom bathroom. No plug in the sink of the kitchenette upstairs. Kitchen utensils all good and thanks for the glad wrap tea and coffee etc.
