This was a great location. It was a short walk from the metro station and lots a good food options. Neighborhood was quiet and we had a wonderful time.

The location is absolutely perfect—our family felt very safe the entire time, thanks in part to the excellent street lighting. Parking was a breeze, and the home itself was cozy and surprisingly affordable for such a prime location.The beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable—even the pull-out couch provided a great night’s sleep! The property was spotlessly clean, and communication with the host was prompt and helpful throughout our stay.I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

This was the absolute best place to stay while our family of 5 explored D.C. The neighborhood was quaint and beautiful. The home was very clean and had all of the necessities. We all slept very well in the comfortable beds. It was conveniently located and we had dinner several nights in the Eastern Market area. Would highly recommend staying here.

This whole experience was excellent! The host was wonderfully communicative, the check-in and check-out processes were clear and smooth, and the unit itself was thoughtfully stocked. The neighborhood has easy access to so many great DC locations and conveniences and is still somehow so peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay at this property or any of this host's properties again!

Excellent location if you want to see the Friday Night Parade at Marine Barracks. Great area of town-- family park, attractive row houses, a gluten free bakery named Sweet Crimes 2 blocks away! Desiree was very helpful in offering suggestions. The indoor/outdoor Eastern Market on Saturdays was outstanding! Artists, thrifted clothes, jewelry, food and more! Hefty walk from Botanic Gardens and Capitol but manageable if you need to 'get your steps in.'

Host was welcoming and prompt in her responses to several questions. The location was ideal and the neighborhood felt safe. The space was perfect for our needs and we loved the furniture and decor. Beds were super comfy.

Our stay was great and in a good location. We walked to some good restaurants. Host was attentive for any questions. Nearby local Trader Joe’s and Safeway. Bed was comfortable and appreciative of the soaps and shampoo in the bathroom since our luggage came late from our flight. Recommend for a comfortable stay.

Basement conversion, convenient to center, well equipped for vacations, clean.Drafty windows and doors and a bit noisy as next to Pennsylvania Avenue (and creaky floorboards upstairs). Paint smell in bedroom. Washing machine maybe belongs in a museum. Communication somewhat impersonal unfortunately. Still, mostly positive experience for everyone.

The location was perfect, close to the Metro, Traders Joe's, Safeway, and many restaurants just before you reach the entrance to the Metro. The house it self was very comfortable for the three of us, the washer & dryer an extra bonus. Everything you need is in the kitchen. Desiree was great, needed help with the heater and she talked us through the process in starting it up. We would stay there again.

Convenient, cozy, and clean!

This lovely little space is ideally situated for anyone wanting to explore the D.C. area. It was a comfy and relaxing place to retreat to from long days out and about. Host was extremely communicative and helpful, making everything about my stay a breeze!

The neighborhood was VERY convenient to restaurants, METRO station and Trader Joe’s! Cute neighborhood and lots of foot traffic, Eastern Market had great food choices and such a beautiful neighborhood. The property was NOT super clean. We found a dirty, chunky baby bottle on the bedroom floor and we needed to use the window A/C units and they were VERY dirty and dusty! Sleeping was great and lots of Kcups for coffee maker. Washer/dryer was a nice bonus! Parking was a little inconvenient! We arrived late and had to park a block away from the place and then our car got broken into on the last day! They broke a window and stole a few items! All and all we had a great visit and would recommend this area to people!

Great stay, communication with the manager was fluent. The place was cleanned, well equipted, good kitchen utensils (wooden , ceramic and stainless steal), well located. They brought us a blender that we requested hopefully they provide for the future a glass blender. The only thing they could improve will be the bench they have outside the front yard, is weak, and it wil would be nice to sit outside to drink the coffee in the morning and maybe to change some of the pans that are already scratch. Bathrrom i wish was wider, but overall the place is really nice and we look forrward to stay there again in the future. Heads up for the Moka pot for the coffee.

Wonderful/caring host, prime location!

We (family of 4) thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay. The location was ideal, being only a couple blocks away from Trader Joe's and the nearest Metro station. Plenty of restaurants along Barracks Row also just a couple blocks away if we preferred to dine out. There was also a playground perfect for young children. The Capitol building was also within walking distance for your elementary school-aged children. Couldn't have asked for a better location, especially since the nights were quiet even though everything was so close and accessible.As for the apartment itself, it was well stocked and allowed us to cook. The in-unit washer/dryer allowed us to do laundry midway through our trip. Beds were soft and comfortable. The apartment was reasonably spacious and clean. The heaters worked well and kept us plenty warm when it was chilly at night. There was a Keurig machine with K-pods that we used daily. Pretty much the apartment came as advertised without any surprises.Finally, Desiree was a wonderful host. She checked in with us on the second day of our stay to see if there was anything she could do to make our stay more enjoyable. She was responsive to our questions and just overall a delight as I could tell she genuinely wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. She always felt available without feeling intrusive.Overall, I was thrilled with the decision to stay here and would book again if it's available. Highly recommend!!
