Add was listed as entire house but we only got the basement. owner came up with new rules after we checked in, complained multiple times almost every hour, knocked on the door multiple times at night to complain; borderline harassment throughout the entire night. He demanded to come inside and made us uncomfortable. Was watching us from the second we checked in. The place was clean at first glance, quickly noticed how dirty and sticky everything was. There were even cockroaches and earwigs in corners of the house, wasn’t able to enjoy the night at all. Would highly recommend staying away from this nightmare of a host and his filthy basement.

This review does not accurately reflect what happened during the stay. The guests booked the basement for 5 people but arrived with more than 20, despite the property rules. Although they confirmed that their booking was not for a party, they held a party with large speakers and excessive noise. Quiet hours are clearly stated as 10 PM to 7 AM, yet there was shouting and noise throughout the night. The guests also repeatedly locked the main entrance door, including around midnight, despite having booked only the basement. Smoking marijuana is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property, but this rule was also violated. The negative review was posted after the guests were charged additional fees for damages. We believe this timing is important context for future guests to consider. Our attempts to address these serious rule violations were necessary to protect the property, respect our neighbours, and maintain a safe environment. The house rules were communicated in advance, not introduced after check-in. We respect honest feedback, but we also believe future guests deserve an accurate account of the situation. We expect all guests to follow the occupancy limits, quiet hours, and no-smoking policy agreed to when booking.

Comfortable quiet place with friendly host. Easy parking and access. Smaller kitchen which was fine for us since we did only takeout and eat out. Large space with many beds for a large group.

Ce logement est parfait pour des personnes qui ne veulent pas manger à la maison car il n'y a guère de matériel pour cuisiner ( mini plaque peu de place et évier pour vaisselle d'enfant ) . d'autre part il est indiqué: machine à laver mais il faut réserver pour que Amir puisse ouvrir le local ou elle se trouve ( c'est à signaler sur la réservation ) Dernière chose nous avons eu une fuite dans les toilettes et salle de bain donc inutilisables pendant les trois jours car celà n'a pas été réparé vue que nous partions toute la journée. Malgré ces petits hics , ce logement est vraiment très bien spacieux, propre , très calme et sans problème pour se garer. Nous ne pouvons mettre cinq étoiles mais ce logement mérite 4,8 sur 10 sans problème.

An important point that is not in the listing, you have to walk down a hill to get in this basement unit. My mom can go up and down stairs that are to code, but the "stairs" built into the hill are not for someone that is handicapped with a walker or can.The kitchenette is lacking, we were not able to cook effectively.There is not a temp control in this basement so you have to rely on the own changing the temp.Host communication was good, but I would have preferred to get the image of the steps when I booked the listing.It was clean and had very basic amenities. Good for overnights that will be spending most of your time away in the city.
