Glamping in Palapa Paradise! 35 minutes East of Ottawa, with waterfront access, just a 4 minute walk from your palapa.

Kayaks, canoes and paddle boat. Swim off the islands of the National Park Plaissance.

Watch the spectacular sunset from your very own hot tub overlooking the water.

Have a campfire or best of all, just sit back, with a drink in your hand and your feet in the sand! Yes, the palapa has a sand floor! Crazy!!!

Shared bathroom and amazing outdoor shower.
Running water but no electricity at the Palapa. There is electricity at your hot tub, for charging devices.
You have died and gone to Palapa Paradise!!

had a great time, it was freezing at night we could barely sleep at night because it was really cold, safe to say we will be back next summer when the weather is much warmer

Deanna was a great host with attention to details.All amenities as listed on line.Hot shower system plus everything else worked well for us. Excellent cottage experience only 50 min from home.

Best girls getaway

The beautiful setting, amazing views, and wonderful hospitality made it really feel like we were in a far away paradise (not 40 minutes from ottawa). Deanne was marvelous and beyond accomodating. Thank you so much for all the wonderful memories. And cant wait to see you again

First time booking

Pictures perfectly captured the space. Booked two nights but only ended up staying one as the weather wasn’t great. The host was very nice and everything included in the space exceeded our expectations. Only thing that would make this rental better would be electricity access but overall amazing experience and we can’t wait to book again next summer

Nature Oasis

The Palapa place was a cute and quaint oasis away from the hum of the city. Unfortunately, it was a rainy stay, and the ground around was a bit muddy, but the cabin was dry and warm. Deanna's attention to detail is commended and she was very attentive to our needs. There is some highway noise, but not too distracting. River access is about 400 meters, less than 10 minute walk from the cabin. Our favourite feature was the outdoor shower and the provided fluffy bathrobes. We had a decent stay. Thank you, Deanna.
