Property was extremely clean, well furnished and served most of our needs. Just a couple of things that were less than ideal. We visited with our elderly parents during this time. The stairs to enter the home being on the second floor above the garage, made access very difficult for them. Also, the beach front is not at this home, but at the owners other property on the other side of the street. They were extremely accomodating, but it was not clear when I booked the property, that we would be sharing the beach with them for part of the stay.

Relaxing stay in Shapleigh

My wife, 2 year old daughter and my dog stayed here for the week and had a lovely trip. The place was brand new, laundry, plenty of amenities and right across the street from the water. Very spacious, central air and plenty of cooking supplies. Debbie was incredibly accommodating and responsive, easy check in and out. We are already planning our trip for next year.

Debbie was an amazing host! The house was very clean and up to date. Debbie was very responsive and her whole family was super friendly! Great quiet location, the closest grocery store is about 30 mins away so I recommend doing a hannahford to go order on your way to the rental. Just a little over an hour to storyland and living shores aquarium and just under an hour to most of the beaches and towns along the coast like Ogunquit to portland. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a peaceful but fun family vacation! We will definitely be back!
