Unwind in Nanaimo at this delightful house. With 2 cozy bedrooms including a king bed, queen bed, and double futon with computer workstation in the den/third bedroom, Guests can relax in comfort. BC regulations only allows to advertise 2 bedrooms and no more than 4 adult guests. Children are not included in that total guests 😉
The features include a beautiful fireplace and a jetted oversized bathtub for a luxurious soak.
Get in a great swim in the 17’ swim spa and enjoy a delicious beverage at the tiki bar with a smart tv.
This charming property also offers amenities like WiFi, an iron, and a hairdryer.
Enjoy all that Nanaimo has to offer when you stay at my place.
Onsite management on lower/main level with separate entrance. Guests stay on upper level.

Great host, very responsive. Property was lovely. Would highly recommend! Only thing to mention that isn't on the listing is that the Swim Spa is a shared space with the host.

Good, But Could Be Improved.

I stay in rentals like these because I like to be able to cook and have better control over the food that I eat when travelling. I am always disappointed when I check the kitchen and it is not stocked with pots pans and utensils. Why have a place like this and not provide all that??Vic’s place has potential to be great if the kitchen was stocked better. I was cooking for 4 and it was a bit of a challenge to make a large meal with the lack of tools in the kitchen. It was even harder to clean up with only sponges and cloths, barely any soap and no scouring pads. Vic was awesome. He happened to be there when we arrived and showed us how to use the swim spa, and was very quick to respond later when we had trouble with it. He also offered an early and late check in/out. Vic did mention that if we needed anything he would drop it off, but we were there for a somber occasion and I didn’t want to interact with anyone if I did not have to; and I think those items should just be there for that type of rental. Not sure if it is in the listing, but there is a camera aimed at the swim spa and it felt kinda creepy for my daughter. Vic mentioned that it only takes stills and is not on all the time, but still. So, I would say if you are looking for a place to catch some rays and sit in a hot tub by a Tiki bar, and you aren’t planning any large meals, this is the place for you.

Nice and comfortable

Was nice to have a fireplace The weather wasn’t the best but it was nice to get some r&rDidn’t get to enjoy the hot tub much but hopefully next time the weather might be better to enjoy the outside atmosphere Overall the stay was great!

Trader Vic's tiki bar

It was a great location, very close to everything. Thankfully Google Maps is available as there are loads of streets in Nanaimo! The house was immaculate! Vic was an awesome host, however I perhaps misunderstood as I have never stayed at a VRBO and I thought the house was ours. Vic lives on the ground floor, travels a lot. I absolutely would recommend Vic and his property! I would caution anyone that is elderly and has mobility problems as Nanaimo as well as this house is built on hills. We were travelling with our 92 and 90 year old parents. The pictures did show the steep hill but I just did not think it through for them. My lack of details! All in all, a great time and Vic is very accommodating. Thanks Vic, We left you some fresh Cod in the freezer. :)
